mrelectriccity Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Yeah All Stars is one of my fav wrestling games. love the look and gameplay that arcade style were all the moves are way over the top. The only thing that sucked about it was lack of game modes & feats. i wish they would come out with a All Stars 2 with all of the feat & matches of 2k14 & upcoming 2k15 now that would be the shit. T Agent Crane HK Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I wouldn't mind it. I never got to play the online for WWE All-Stars. I did like the arcade style to it, but I yeah it did lack game modes. However I doubt they will call it WWE All Stars anymore since it was a product of THQ before 2K even bought into the WWE video game franchise and THQ shut their own servers down at their own risk. Although perhaps we might see another wrestling / arcade style game someday, but I don't see 2K developing the game depending how successful their WWE games keep up. Personally I like 2K14, but there was a lot wrong with it as well. Hopefully they'll step up with 2K15 then maybe we can debate about a possible All Star project from 2K. However don't get me wrong I do like the idea very much. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 It reminded me of a polished LOWM and I loved it, still play it now. But the chances of an All Stars 2 is about as much chance of LOWM 2. Quote
mrelectriccity Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Yeah i dont think they can use the name to make a part 2 but it doesn't really matter what they call it as long as it still has the same arcade style gameplay Quote
T Agent Crane HK Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) It reminded me of a polished LOWM and I loved it, still play it now. But the chances of an All Stars 2 is about as much chance of LOWM 2. LOWM was a classic game in my opinion in a time where wrestling was at it's weakest. Very ground breaking during that time when they started breaking down the awesome clashes and rivalries that made Wrestlemania such a grand stage. They brought it back from The Golden Era days to The Attitude Era which at that time was on every fans mind due to the lack of delivery that the current roster failed to live up to. For every discussion about John Cena people wanted Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage. For every discussion about Randy Orton people wanted Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock back into wrestling. Those were the days where people (fans) would say bring back the Attitude Era or bring back this superstar. Simply put because people wanted to relive those times and I think LOWM helped us do so and did a good job of doing it. Edited April 23, 2014 by ChildrenOfTheCorn Quote

the King Lives Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 im not actually referring to a legends game as far as wrestlers im just referring to the gameplay style and look I didn't like the gameplay nor the look.. I want a sim style wrestling game not more arcade over the top type style. All-stars was great on a "i'm bored/play on a rainy day" type thing but not something I could see myself playing over and over Quote

Where was Roddy Piper then? Yes the game was missing tag teams like LOD, Demolition, Hart Foundation, Rockers & British Bulldogs! Quote
SassySlothh Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I prefer the current roster to 80's stars. Look who is on the 'whats hot' page on cc, CURRENT STARS Quote
Tamer™ Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I think legend fans have been given enough these last 2 years , I want some current guys and divas , if legend fans want legends that bad then go to CC. Quote
#HEELGlory Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 No. Give me a remade version of WWF Smackdown. Quote

Look who is on the 'whats hot' page on cc, CURRENT STARS You got be joking right majority of the legends that are in WWE 2K14 are from the 90s when they where at their peek guys like : The Ultimate Warrior , Bret Hart, HBK, Diesel, Razor Ramon, SCSA, The Rock all 90s . Hogan , Andre, Steamboat, Savage, Ted and Studd late 80's but still Hogan and Savage popularity still reigned in the 1990s. Ted also in the 90s sucessful tag team Money Inc up to 1993 so there. There are all way better than pathetic idiots from the current stars or these nxt rookies who get released after a while . Edited April 23, 2014 by BEAST987 Quote
SassySlothh Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 You cant talk about current stars like they're shit, some of these will be future legends. Quote

Only guys I can see are The Wyatt Family, The Shield and Cesaro the rest suck . CM Punk was the last great wrestler and he left and Bryan has crawled himself into his space now. Anyway am a WWF Fan since 1990s, now kind of going off it , back to the topic WWE All stars was a good different concept but after a month the game got boring. Plus playing the hell of the demo and also the lack of moves??? and match types Edited April 23, 2014 by BEAST987 Quote
SassySlothh Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Some of them are still very early in their career and you cant expect them to be as good as punk in their first years. Quote

People to this day still talk about the night Hulk Hogan beat The Iron Sheik for the WWF Title back on January 1984 & 30 years later we are still talking about it. I really cant see in 30 years time talking about how awesome it being when Cena won the WWE title from JBL or Punk beating Cena then pissing off home or even Daniel Bryans fluke (I call it fluke because if the fans hadent turned on batista then Bryan wouldnt have won the belt) at Wrestlemania. The thing is the amount of great stars there has been we shouldnt have to resort to go flogging to CC to get characters that should be in the game. Yes you have to have cut off dates but if they went out and released a sim Legends game then I would never buy another WWE game again. 2k14 had potential but the problem is it focussed on far too much from the modern era in mania mode. I would have preferred a golden era theme, the attitude era was covered last year. Quote

But anyways, I prefer a proper wrestling game, but maybe if they did it as an Xbox live arcade game or something that would be cool. And the funny thing doc, I find more people talking about Punk than Hogan Vs Sheik. Only old school fans really talk about that, but the IWC normally just talk about the attitude era and now. Quote

BEAST987 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I know that about Bret Hart but his reign as the WWF/WWE Champion started in 1992 onwards defeating Ric Flair on a house show in October . Him and HBK started the next Gen era from 1995 onwards when all the huge stars like Savage, Hogan, Luger went to WCW. Quote

I would kill for a SmackDown 2: Know Your Role or HCTP HD Remake Collection Problem is PSX games never get the HD treatment its always PS2 titles otherwise we would have had Resident Evil 1,2 & 3 as well as MGS1 & Silent Hill 1 by now.
