Weird Problem with my save (Never happened before to me)

My save loads my game perfectly everytime,

but the problem I am having is if I try to add anything to it at all Pofo/Moveset files, caws arenas or anyting it crashes and says "It can't load the save data because it is corrupted.

I tried everything I could possible think of, injecting into a fresh save & everything and I get the same message every time.

Does anyone have any ideas on how or if it can be fixed? Or I am stuck with just what I already have om the original save that still loads?

I'm not sure. A little while a go both my saves on my HDD and memory unit corruptd at the same time. The weirdest part was when i ty to load my save on

my memory unit, it would come off as corrupted. So I log off at the press start menu and log back in and load up the save again and it worked fine. Eventually I just started everything fresh.

This has happened to me a couple of times - the only way around it that I've found is to extract anything I want to keep from the save (CAWs,finishers, etc) then create a band new save and spend an afternoon injecting it all again.

 

I can only assume that XPacker cumulatively does something to the checksum of the savefile so that eventually you can't do anything else to it.

I'm starting to think that the problem is actually caused if you use any other save editing tool prior to using XPacker

 

Based on my own experiences I'd suggest that you only use Pure, Hacker-T or KG's save editiors if you are certain that you won't want/need to use XPacker on your save again

 

 

...unless you don't mind doing what I've had to do a couple of times now - extract every entrance, moveset, CAW, etc from my save and inject back into a 'fresh' one

Thats happen to me, i got an advance saved but i cant do more anymore with xpacker because get corrupted, and a new one works fine
