Samy Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Shanghai WinSun Decoration Design Engineering Co built 10 houses in less than 24 hours in Shangai, China These 200m² houses have been made thanks to a giant 3D printer that is 32 meters in length, 10 meters in width and 6.6 meters in height. It's quite interessant because it uses recycled stuff. Economically it is interesting too since one house would only cost about 4800$ Damn that's crazy (sorry if the text contains mistakes, i translated it from french and i'm just tired as f***. What do you think about that? It's general chat right? Quote

fufu ÷ Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 This sort of thing has been around for years. However the companies that create them have held it back in order to make more money from past technology. As far as you think media has come at this point, add 10 years and that's where it really is. Quote

I built houses for a living and wander if these 3D printed houses would live up to standards abd regulations needed to become "residential" Anyone got any more info on this? I'd love to look into it son e more. Quote
