The Don Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Not the movie, FX has apparently turned it into a mini-series. At least I'd assume that what it is, I haven't really read up on it much other than knowing Billy Bob Thornton is in it as "the voice of evil" or something along those lines. I have to say it's pretty damned good. Watching a loser middle aged guy slowly lose control was quite entertaining and I love that Billy Bob wasn't in many scenes but you knew if he was there, something was going to go down. I'm quite looking forward to next week's episode and hopefully it's another 90 minutes. My only gripe with the show is that they naturally needed to have the "Gosh darnit! Yeah youbetcha!" Minnesota accent which bugs me as I've lived here my entire life and you could count on a shop teacher's hand the amount of people I've bumped into that sound like that... But it's just a minor gripe as the show last night was excellent. Also, the old guy who loses control (I can't remember his name off the top of my head) actually reminds me a lot of my Uncle... Aside from being a klutz, pussy and killing his wife, but his mannerisms and his overall appearance. Quote
delete Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Is that the one on C4? With Martin Freeman? And "Because some roads you shouldn't go down". Quote
The Don Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Yes. I had to check on IMDB and sadly it seems Billy Bob will only be in half the episodes but his character is clearly going to meet his demise. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802850/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Quote
