The Don Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 So one of the supervisors at work is a hip-hop head/rapper so during our lunch and afternoon breaks we tend to have mandatory old school (pre-02) hip-hop time and I'm not much older than my other coworkers who have to endure our nerding out but it amazes me the amount of songs these kids nowadays don't know! Children's Story by Slick Rick, 1st of tha Month by Bone Thugs N Harmony, Po Pimpin by Do or Die (not having heard that is a crime in the midwest I thought), and the list goes on. Just amazes me that 22-25 year olds haven't heard some of these. But I digress... The reason I've decided to bump this is because while I was unpacking I found some of my old hibbidy hops mixtapes, those of note being The Kanye West Essentials Collection by Mick Boogie, Diplomats Vol. 4 by DJ Kay Slay and Rap Phenomenon Pt. I & II (Notorious B.I.G. & 2Pac respectively) and was wondering if anyone has ever heard them? I'm adding them to my phone now for the upcoming breaks... But if you like hip-hop I'd encourage everyone to see out that Kanye West one I mentioned, remember when he WASN'T a joke? Quote
Sir Flash™ Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 CLASSIC MIXTAPE! http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/12359/sincerely_yours.html Quote

EnigmaticArtist Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 #Bump I hate the song, but Lex Luger created something great, IMO, with this beat. Quote
