LordBarker Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Hi all, So have got Anabolica's mods working well. I have updated to latest update and unlocked all DLC. However I wanted to add attires made by others. My understanding is on the PS3 I need to edit the misc_dlc03.pac in order to add attires. However, I was told I could just use Xpacker to edit the misc_dlc03.pac, which brings up the 'Attires no found' error. So, I thought I'd try misc01_start.pac - and that works fine. In this case to add attires to the PS3 version do I need to do Hexedit since Xpacker won't read the misc_03dlc file? Since I hexedited with Rooster's Warrior pack and I only got one new attire. I edited the ch and the def files and updated the arcs, but still only got one attire and couldn't select the rest. The info on PS3 modding seems quite sketchy, if someone could give me a hand regarding PS3 attires that would be great. Thank you. Edited April 15, 2014 by LordBarker Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Read through this - To be honest there is nothing sketchy about PS3 modding, it's just the same as modding no the 360 except the PS3 save is still waiting to be cracked. The files are the same on both platforms as well. Quote
LordBarker Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 It was putting it back on the console I got stuck at, well that and the fact my misc03_dlc.pac was corrupt originally. Basically, follow Kidsampson's guide then: *Rename CH136.pac (for example) 136.pac (so remove CH) *Update Def files with notepad to reflect the change *Copy 2 x Arc Files and 2 x def back into GAME folder, NOT games *Copy misc_dlc03.pac back into Games/BLES01937/USDIR/catalog003/pac That works a treat! LordBarker Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 Going to try a bit of hex editing next for Rooster's Jake attires. Quote

Added Attires only work when you have your arc and def files in your game folder. You need only xpacker 9 Beta4 to add attires to the misc03_dlc.pac. You dont need to hex edit anything Misc file to : /dev_hdd0/game/BLES01937/USRDIR/catalog003/pac arc and def files to : /dev_hdd0/game/BLES01937/USRDIR .pac file to : /dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLES01937-[WWE 2K14]/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/pac/ch Edited April 16, 2014 by Anabolica Quote

LordBarker Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Yeah you need to delete the ones in the games (plural) folder. Make sure they are in game. If you have installed the 2k 14 internally then they are in the HDD/game/'game id' directory. Edit with notepad, or a similar text editor, just remove the 'ch' from the front of the .pac you are editing/updating. Quote
moreno622 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Could you make a video tutorial on how to replace superstar with another superstar or mod, please, i am very confuse. I have followed every steps and nothing work. Please, help? Thank you. Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 When you install 2K14 on a PS3 it also generates a .DAT file that needs to be removed for mods to work. Can't for the life remember the name of it though isnce it has been a while since I have re-installed it. Quote
moreno622 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Kim666, thank you for your suggestion but the game works fine but when i try to overwrite a wrestler with another it does not work. It goes into loading forever but nothing happen. it shows the screen where the wrestlers are facing each other and then it goes into loading but it just keeps loading and nothing. Quote
LordBarker Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) Could you make a video tutorial on how to replace superstar with another superstar or mod, please, i am very confuse. I have followed every steps What exactly is it you're trying to achieve? Are you wanting to overwrite a current superstar with a forum mod? If so, find a rostered superstar with the same height as the one you want to add e.g. If you want to add Ax from Rooster's DLC 2 pack, he is 6'2". same height as Roman Reigns. -Rename Ax's .pac (ch330) to ch368. -Delete the 'ch', so you have 368. -Using Xpacker, open 368 and edit the first entry from 00033002 to: 00036802. (*Note: Reigns only has one attire, so if you want to use all of Ax's attires you'll need to use a dummy.pac. Extract the pachs from Ax's file and inject them into a new one renaming them with Reign's pack number: 00036802, 00036804, 00036812 etc. etc. for all of the attires). -Update the arc files within Xpacker. -Edit the def files with notepad, so the ch368 entries now read 368. (*If you have added more attires/want to use them all you'll also have to update the misc_dlc03.pac located in: GAME\BLES01937\USRDIR\catalog003\pac. In this you'll need to scroll down to 368 and change the number of attires from 1 to however many you've added, I think in Rooster's mod Ax has about 6, so change the attire numbers to 6. You can them rename them all with Xpacker. If you want certain names: Summer Slam, Royal Rumble, Epic and a few more these CAN'T be changed in Xpacker, it will just throw up a blank. For these attires you need to hexedit, but that probably isn't you priority right now). -Copy Reigns' new file (which is now Ax) back to the GAMES folder, not GAME. -Delete the original Reigns PAC (ch368) -copy the arc and def files back to GAME/BLES01937/USRDIR -copy the misc file back to GAME\BLES01937\USRDIR\catalog003\pac I wrote that off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure that's how I did it. It might be worth ignoring the info. in brackets first, and just seeing if you can add Ax, for example, into the game without worrying about attires at this stage. Copy 2 x Arc Files and 2 x def back into GAME folder, NOT games? I have one question? the def files that need to be edit are the ones on my playstation hard drive or my usb and if the playstation, how do I edit them? The def files are in the GAME/BLES01937/USRDIR directory. You can edit them with notepad. Edited May 2, 2014 by LordBarker Quote

LordBarker Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 When does it stop loading mate - after the character select screen/pre-match you mean? Quote
moreno622 Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 it pass the character select screen and pre-match and then it goes into loading to start the match by the match never start. Thank You very much Quote
kim666 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 -Delete the original Reigns PAC (ch368) I think this is the problem, did you delete the ch368 file from your PS3? if yes then this was wrong. I don't know why LordBarker wrote this Quote
LordBarker Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Sorry my mistake. I only went through it quickly! Slipped up there. Quote
moreno622 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Thank you guys but it is still not working for me. Quote
LordBarker Posted May 17, 2014 Author Posted May 17, 2014 Hmmm, I have no idea. Whenever I encounter issues I restart the whole process going through carefully again, it usually turns out I've missed a step or forgot to copy something over. Another tricky alternative might be Kim's really time guide. I found it tricky for my first two added dlcs and asked Kim a ton on questions which he kindly answered, but I've successfully done 5 now and would highly recommend that it's worth pursuing. Quote
