See, this is why I hate talking about this subject. When somebody like me says that they hate gays,homo, etc, then it starts a fight. I'm not that type of person that will make fun of a gay person. If somebody is like that, they can deal with it. I've had some personal things I wouldn't tell many people. Here they are.

1.I have had a gay guy flirt with me. He touched my butt and I hit him in the balls and ran to my mom. I was about 7. I have never told anyone that.

2.A friend of mine has been stalked by a gay man.

3.I have a teacher that is a lesbian and she constantly talks about her girlfriend. They hold hands during meetings, kiss each other randomly in front of students.

4.When I was in 5th grade, there was an openly gay man that dressed like a woman who taught kids that were about 5-6 years old. What happened to him? He got transferred to a new school because a little kid reported he had touched his (I think you can guess) and told his parents, who reported it.

All that stuff was true, so don't go around accusing me of lying. As I said, judge me if you want, but I am sticking to my opinion and I'm not changing it.

It seems we're losing track of the original intention of this post. Is being Anti-Gay a reason to be punished? Should company CEOs be forced to step down for their views on the subject, Does a store owners view on gay marriage sway you in doing buisness with them and should homosexuals be treated differently than everyone else.

That's what I'm looking for, thank you. Is bullying a kid because he's gay any worse than bullying a kids because he's fat, ginger or has glasses? Since everyone here follows wrestling, I'd assume, should Darren Young have gotten that little push because he came out of the closet? I personally don't think he's the great of a wrestler but thankfully his "push" was short lived and he wasn't pushed down anyone's throat. ...Phrasing.

I'm all for equal rights. Our government in Australia is against it and I recently had a cousin who flew overseas just to get legally married to his husband. I don't like how people are getting treated differently for sharing a different sexual opinion to somebody else. It seems incredibly unfair and the public image of homosexuality needs to change very soon. If you look at a gay couple you shouldn't think anything but what you would think when looking at a man and woman. If a man really loves a man what's wrong with them spending the rest of there life with that man, exactly the same as a man loving a woman.

I'm sure your government disagrees being you live in Australia, just look up what happened to the Aboriginal people of Australia. 

 

It's all about compromise and walking in other people shoes.  Every thing comes down to money and personal gain and or agenda. I am sure your government will get on the bandwagon soon enough, once they realize they can start to capitalize off same sex marriages,divorce, and so forth. Then there will be a bigger problem on your hand because then propaganda starts to take place instead of letting things flow naturally.

Politics somehow always end up intermingling with business and the fact that views cannot be expressed because of fear of persecution is totally bullshit. However, because of the insensitive nature of the modern culture that surrounds us today, people seem to get offended quite easily if someone is accused of being "anti-gay." Perhaps, that label alone would hinder any future opportunity you can get. It's best to evolve with time, rather to stay in the past.

I have even heard if "gay sex" is being widely accepted, why isn't "bestiality." Well, wouldn't that would be accountable to rape if animals had the same rights as human beings.

On a social level there seem to be no problems over here. It's where the lines get blurred business-wise where personal beliefs dictate whether you will get your next paycheck.
