I'm sure everyone here has noticed the recent change in equal rights for gays and lesbians, it's impossible to miss. I personally don't care if you're gay, straight, bisexual or whatever else there is out there... Whatever gets you off. I also understand they they have gotten more shit than anyone should for their sexual preference/orientation. There is much more understanding for these people than there has been in years past, which is a great. However it seems if you're anti-gay you must be some kind of monster and I don't think that's true. There will always be people who don't agree with the way some people chose to live their lives, but should they be punished or discriminated against? Recently one of the head honchos at Mozilla had to step-down due to pressure over him apparently being anti-gay. In the grand scheme of things, does it matter if a company CEO isn't down with same sex relationships? I personally don't think so. It seems like those who are anti-gay are being persecuted just as the gays were. Is it okay that the formerly persecuted seem to be persecuting now? The question I'd like to pose to everyone is where do you stand on the subject? If you're homosexual should you be treated different and get your way more often just because people of the same sex appeal to you more?

You said it yourself, "There will always be people who don't agree with the way some people chose to live their lives", and I just don't like people who discriminate other people for something that they don't have control over. You can't choose wether you LIKE gay people or not, but you CAN choose to accept their way of live. But, I don't think that they should be punished or deteriorated in any sort of way or form.

Our government in Australia is against it and I recently had a cousin who flew overseas just to get legally married to his husband. I don't like how people are getting treated differently for sharing a different sexual opinion to somebody else. It seems incredibly unfair and the public image of homosexuality needs to change very soon. If you look at a gay couple you shouldn't think anything but what you would think when looking at a man and woman. If a man really loves a man what's wrong with them spending the rest of there life with that man, exactly the same as a man loving a woman.

After he came out, all of them left him and refused to go near him because 'he might try it on with me' That annoyed the fuck out of me because: 1. Just because he's gay, it doesnt mean he hasnt got standards. 2. Straight females hang around with guys yet they're okay with it, even if they dont like eachother 3. He has attempted suicide 3 times 4. He hangs around with girls now, which you can imagine, causes even more name-calling. I dont get it, people should respect others decisions. If they dont want to get married to someone the same gender as them, Fine! They dont have to! Its not like they are being forced to, you dont hear gay people complaining about straight marriage! 2

I don't see why prefer minge or dick should make a difference to a persons human rights. Although I also think that any separation of rights as far as religions go is A-Okay. I mean, you have your rights from the state, but rights from the church are governed by that churches leader - since it's an exclusive society.

BUT, keep mind that two man are, technically, still able to have (anal/oral/etc-) sex, so if god/the evolution didn't want people of the same sex have sex in any sort of form, why didn't he/it made it impossible to have sex without both genders being apart of the act? I don't know. Nobody knows. I can't judge about something I don't know shit about, so I usually try to avoid going into the direction of this type of conversation.

I feel the main reason gay pride parades are a thing is because most of the time gay people are made to feel like they shouldn't be proud of being gay, yet it is just socially acceptable to be straight. I personally think that his decision of discriminating gay people is wrong, but: A: It doesn't affect me personally B: After all, it's still a job, and I would want to make a living for myself C: As long as he doesn't do anything radical, like physically or verbally harassing homosexual people, I couldn't care less.
