Create a Story doesn't read my saves

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I tried the Create a Story option yesterday (yes, it's pretty late :)) and it seems I can't read the save when there are DLC characters involved.

I have an error message :

"some data cannot be used downloadable content appears to be missing or damaged. Reacquire downloadble content to restore access to this save data"

It seems that it's a problem people have... bravo  2k....

EDIT:

OK, I have my answer :

UPDATE! I think I just figured out the cause of my problem! My story breaks and gives me that message whenever I use one of the belts from WWE 13's championship belts pack DLC! Yes, I'm talking about WWE 2K14.

If you want to test this glitch out for yourself:

1. John Cena U.S. spinner championship
2. AWA championship
3. World Heavyweight Championship (nWo)
4. WCW World Tag Team Championship
5. WCW Cruiserweight Championship
6. WCW United States Championship
7. WCW Hardcore Championship
8. ECW Classic championship
9. ECW Television Championship
10. ECW Tag Team Championship

So basically, I can't use WCW belts... Don't 2K have a QA department to test out those things before the release of the game.... :(

Ok, Even without belts, it doesn'y work. Screw that. Gave up

Did you purchase the DLC, or did you download it from a forum?

downloaded but it seems that it's a problem other people who purchased it have.

The only problems with DLC in story mode are the Warrior/Taker/Belts file that is modified, plus the Community DLC.

That's why I asked, because it seems for me that untouched DLC works fine in STory Mode, just modded stuff will save but them can't be loaded again
