Some rumors have circulated around the internet about the first details on WWE 2K15.

According to HipHopGamer, a source has given him some interesting new information about WWE 2K15. Take this news as a grain of salt for now, but the information provided does sound interesting if it’s all true.

First of all, he said the graphics in the game will be of “CGI-Quality”. This is good news considering the graphics in recent WWE games have been pretty poor. He also mentioned blood, bruises and sweat will be very detailed than ever before.

Another tidbit he said about the game is that the WWE Network will be integrated in the game somehow. It’s unknown how it will work, but it sounds pretty cool. Crowd fighting is supposed to make a comeback too as well as backstage fighting too.

The Season mode is apparently going to be overhauled too. It’s expected the Season mode will be modeled in real life in real time. For example if you play WWE 2K15 this Sunday, all of the matches at WrestleMania XXX will be playable for you. There still needs to be more clarification on this since not every wrestler gets animated into the games. He also says if wrestlers get a haircut or something, you can download a patch to update their character model.

WWE 2K15 will be released later this year. 2K Games is expected to make an official announcement on the game in May or June.

As much as I'd like to believe this, it sounds bogus.  First off, I doubt 2K would ever implement CGI type graphics as gaming companies can't do that with their current technology.  They'd have to overhaul the entire setup which would probably take years to master and even longer to put into a game.  I'm sure an engine overhaul would happen too, so not likely.  Crowd fighting hasn't been a major focus since the earlier Smackdown titles, so I'd believe it when I saw it.  With all of the lame ass April's fools jokes I have seen online today, I was totally expecting to see that written in this topic once I clicked on it.  Either way, you'd be a fool to believe all of this without some sort of official confirmation from a respected news outlet via 2K Sports.
