Where to Begin?

Hello all!  Been sort of eyeing these forums awhile now when I came across the "on-going community project" thread and I felt inspired.  The idea of being able to port wrestlers from '12 and '13 sounded amazing.  No offense to those who use the CAW's, but I hate how they look compared to actual in game renders (I know, woe is me  ).  The idea of having a full d-x stable against a full nWo stable had me salivating.  Since 2K is pretty much my go to game right now, why not make the most of it and add all the assets that I've seen in all these threads from textures to rings. So I've decided to go all in and pursue this daunting task.  I've never attempted anything like this before and my computer knowledge is fairly minimal (I do plan on immersing myself in the tutorials soon)

So my question is, which console is easiest to "hack" and which is the most supported? The impression I get from these forums is that X-box is the easiest to get around, but it seems that ps3 is the most supported, as far as mods go.  Am I wrong?  (And yes i'll probably go out and buy a new console because of this)  Thanks in advance!

Generally mods are interchangeable between consoles, so that shouldn't make a difference.

As I understand it, you are correct in thinking that the Xbox is easier to apply the mods to, but then I haven't tried both so I'm probably not the best person to be giving that advice!

All the information you need is right here on these forums, and thanks to Tekken's tools it's easier than ever to fill your dream rosters.

I only really started modding these games myself with WWE '13, and I found out pretty much everything I needed to know right here.

Good luck and by all means share your progress with us
