SPAMMER Horror Stories

Well guys,

After over 1400 matches on WWE 2K14 I have officially thrown in the towel. I can no longer deal with the SPAMMING that has come to define this game. WWE has put out a superior product and I don't know if I've ever been so addicted to a video game.

But the constant walk spamming, run spamming, corner spamming, taunt spamming, ect. has killed it for me. I hope that 2K sports can build on this fantastic game and at the same time remove many of the aggravating glitches that ruin matches, swing momentum the wrong way, and screw up win/loss records.

My beef with this game is not the roster, or anything to do with the graphics. It's GREAT. But there are massive holes in the game play and it hurts to have matches destroyed by players that can always use SPAM to find an out when they are about to lose a match.

I was wondering if anyone else out there wanted to share their SPAMMING stories with the community. Has it detracted from your enjoyment of the game, or are you still able to cope with it?

Bill

There is no reason to bump a thread unless it goes at least a day without a comment.

Anyway, I don't play online for that reason.

Ok. Point taken on the bump.

So you only play with friends or by CPU? Sounds good.

Unfortunately since none of my friends play the game I don't have that option.

But yes, I feel you.

I'll give you some advice because your like me when it comes to this type of shit with spammers

-Don't play rank matches. Because it's infested with Spammers, Hackers, Cheaters! No matter what they will never go away!

- Play Player Matches. Because most of the people who play those matches are just like the of us here who gets tired of being cheated and spammed

- Don't play against guys 100 Overall caws in matches. Because there fools who would actually bring that shit to Player matches and ruin the match for everyone else. Plus 9 times out of 10 guy with 100 overall caws are spammers, cheaters, hackers, etc.

- Play more often with your friends. They will understand what your dealing with and going thru. That if they are truly your friends and they don't spam, hack, and cheat themselves.

-Make more trustworthy friends so you can play with them. Do not befriend someone you don't know!

Now hopefully this will help you out, because i know it helped me & others.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I think a few things that would make the game more tolerable would be:

1. The ability to break the walk spam (to break the player's hold when he grabs you behind the head). Technically this is a move and should be breakable.

2. Running around inside the ring has to stop. There is no reverse kinetic motion in the game (or cut back speed). You are free to race and zig zag around the ring with men who weight in ups of 300 pounds. When you run and change direction,, there should be a real loss of speed on the cut back.

3. The taunt spam. Guys use the taunt spam to recharge energy and to bring up their finishing moves. If you are not doing anything relevant in the ring to your opponent then you should not be accumulating signatures and finishers.

4. No more CAWs with 100 ratings. This also has to end. Players should have a finite amount of rating points that they can award to their CAW, just like the hit point ratio. If you're created player is rated higher than all of the WWE champions, then it's just too much.

In short, keep the muscle of this game, and lose the fat.

I wish the overall system was how it was on the old games when you had to earn it.

I haven't played against any hackers 'cause I play on PS3 but I have played against douchebags who spammed the following:

Announce table grapple (if the table cover is still on, they throw you on the announce table and grapple you on it and it's irreversable)

Seated turnbuckle strikes (they put you in the corner, seated position and strike you each time you try to get up. it's also irreversable)

yeah i hate people who use hack movesets like really whats the point of playing if theres no competition there aint no competition if u dont allow your opponent to even defend itself

Yes indeed!

I hate the announce table spam. They can just ding you on the head repeatedly and get back into the ring before the 10 count.

2K needs to fix those glitches...it's a must.
