Do you remember your taunts could also be used in entrances like you could high five fans, threaten them or just walk and then the match would start. 2K, bring it back... Quote

You should try wrestling mpire Ok the games not the most fluent in graphics but they do some interesting features like you have a match with explosives in the ring and if you get caught in barbed wire or a c4 explosive blows your leg off you can still crawl about in the ring. There are mods to have WWE & TNA wrestlers in the game as its a PC based game. My favourite bit is when you choose say Triple H and you hear time to play the game you actually have to control your wrestler to walk to the ring and you have a taunt button and it doesnt really switch off till your in the ring. After you win the match if you dont want to exit you can actually control your wrestler to beat people up after the match and then walk backstage but its not over yet because once you walk to the back you can attack people if you want. Just imagine if WWE games actually did this it would be awesome. Oh and the best thing about this game is 30 man battle royales with actually 30 men in the ring at one time! Man, 2K really need a boot up the ass and get a solid game made for us lot. THQ made some good ones but ruined a few and now we need 2K to pick up from their errors and rebuild the franchise with new features like Create-a-Lockerroom, nXt Mode, Outside ring interaction, Indies and independent scenes even if they are made up, TVTalkShow where you can talk through your microphone on your headset and everyword you say is automatically recognised you either get cheered, booed, hated or liked, My Invasion where you put a group together consisting of 10 caws or superstars and you invade like the nWo, Nexus and Aces and Eights did by attacking wrestlers and make a statement and you must basically keep the stable together by winning matches, titles and fan support. If you lose more matches then win. The stable splits, if they succeed, they take control of the company and you become gm. Also, one feature they should have is Create-A-Promo, where you make a video of yourself talking trash or complimenting a wrestler and then you can basically on exihibition, do 5 options before a match, Interfere, cause a distraction by making a video one, going to ringside or just basically sit at the announcers desk. Attack, attack the chosen wrestler before their match, where you attack them before their match. Interview, you are interviewed by an announcer and you make either good or bad remarks using your headset. Advice, give advice to the wrestler and if they accept it or not and my favourite one, sitting in the crowd, you walk into the crowd and you either can hop the barrier and attack them or just sit and walk away. Or you just play the match. Tell me what you think, guys... Quote

If you set to a 20 man battle royale make sure you have a decent PC speed otherwise it will lag a bit. Quote

Don't get me wrong, I love the WWE game series but I just feel that when compared to other genres, the WWE series isn't up to par with others as far as graphics and gameplay goes. For that matter, it isn't up to past games like WM 2000, No Mercy, LOW, and others with their creation suite[namely Create-A-Superstar]. LOW had more call names that were accurate for any past and present stars like Taker, Angle, Hardy, etc which WWE still does not have in some of their call names[except Angle]. Both WM 2000 & No Mercy had more moves from different positions and was more fluid in its execution than the current games. As for graphics, I am a Playstation guy[just got rid of my Xbox 360]. But look at a newer game like "The Last of Us" on PS3 and the graphics of that game look as realistically possible as they can and not just a cartoonish recreation like 2k14 tended to look. I don't know if 2K/THQ were skimping on money and not making the graphics as good as they can be, but graphics have needed an overhaul for a long time considering what the Xbox 360/PS3 can do. That's not even including the next generation of game consoles with the Xbox One and PS4. Just by comparison to other genres, the WWE game series can do so much better if done right. Unfortunately, it looks like WWE itself wants quantity over quality with yearly games and the developer is content to keep each yearly installment the same with few updates in each title. While I do appreciate the good things we get each year, I am always disappointed that these games aren't living up to their full potential. Just look at the trailers for past games like SVR 2007 and SVR 2009. Those in-game models look amazing and obviously that technology does exist. I am just dumbfounded as to why these graphics haven't made their way into the new games. As far back as Smackdown: Just Bring It there were similar graphics in JBI's opening sequence video which begs the question, why haven't graphics like this been incorporated into the games? And my conclusion is always the same: greed. By both WWE and its designated game developer[in this case 2K sports]. I hope as a fan that one day greed won't be a factor and these games will be as great as I know they can be but I won't hold my breath on that...... Quote

I've been waiting 5 years for one but they keep trolling us with "past matches" , if I wanna reminisce over past matches I'll watch them I don't need to have them waste valuable space for something I might actually play again which is season mode. best in the world Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I preferred GM mode to Universe. I actually hated GM mode and couldn't understand why so many people liked it. I think Universe mode has untapped potential especially with storylines that branch out and take your star through various cutscenes and other things like backstage interaction. Hopefully 2K will expand Universe in the coming years in which you can either pick random stars and do storylines or zero in with a specific talent and setup specific rivalries/alliances with more customized options such as heel turn, face turn, splitting up stables, bringing back stables, etc. I would enjoy those unique options and it would allow us to choose what kind of universe each individual wants. doctorhr2 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 They need to decide if they want to make a fighting game and treat wrestling as real, or do something (in my opinion) far more fun and groundbreaking, mix Universe and GM Mode and have you play the matches not to necessarily win, but to entertain; a bit like the star rating in GM mode. Iit would create a completely new experience. Managing your character, trying to make a bad gimmick work, the rammifications of pissing off the writers... Quote
