I'm so p$ssed off with the WWE Game Franchise at the moment.

I have been playing WWE games since WWF Smackdown Just Bring It. And in those games all the Way to WWE SvR 2008. Your wrestler was aiming for titles and fame. SvR 09-WWE 12. RTWM was a good mode 2 play because u could play as wrestlers like Triple H, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and that. Anyway when WWE SvR 2011 came out I enjoyed it because u could roam backstage and pick fights with wrestlers. WWE 12 sucked because u had 2 play as Sheamus Triple H and if u had say Scott Hall as a caw he would be renamed Jacob Cass. WTF? And WWE 13 I thought it was ok could of had some more Attitude era stars like Test, the Oddities and Chris Benoit. But 2K14 just copied all Wrestlemania matches when I could just watch them on youtube and anyway I only enjoy the title creating and that but am annoyed with them removing Highlight Reel. I enjoyed classical moments and now they are nothing more then a screenshot. I thought these games were for your caw 2 be making a name for him/herself and winning titles. Not reliving history for 2 games. Man, WWE 13 should have resolved around WCW 2 and not in both games. U could eveb be GM which I loved the most...

I kinda wished that they had stuck to RTWM as I enjoyed them better. 2010 was perfect and a 2 player one.

I wasent too fond of them either in 2009 but 2010 for me was perfect. The little un loved the Dena/Trips storymode. 2 player and taking turns in the matches. The others wernt too bad either just a shame they pissed up 2011 with pointless running about backstage.

They need season mode like in Shut Your Mouth and Here Comes The Pain , if they could combine the both to create a career mode then that would be perfect . No one wants to reminisce over the past matches anymore it has no playback value that way.

I do. Well as in watching old footage through DVDs.

As in Legends in the games well Id like to play them as I want to not specifically as a mode matches.

As far as being "pissed off" at the WWE game franchise, I am not.  I would say that I am more disappointed than anything because these games have endless potential and so far, 2K hasn't done that much with that potential.  I will reserve more in-depth judgment until we see what 2K sports does with WWE2K15, but so far the positives have been outweighed by all the negatives[namely the numerous glitch problems].  While I do think 2K will eventually work these issues out, they should do a massive quality check before they release the games even if it means delaying the release date by a few months.

I thought Smackdown: Just Bring It had the best concept for season mode.  It had branching storylines in which whatever choice you made determined your outcome.  Although the choices were limited[like 2 or 3 choices max], it did revolutionize the series with the ability to decide what to do.  I think 2K could expand upon that concept and make it so much better.  Like adding more specific choices that can determine what happens in your storyline, whether you are heel/face, and what alliances/rivals you have, etc.  The potential for doing this in an on-going story mode/season is endless and if done right, this would keep you busy for as long as you chose to keep the mode active.  I did enjoy 30 Years of WrestleMania for the nostalgia factor, which was exactly what I enjoyed about Attitude Era mode in WWE '13.  I think each year WWE and 2K should be trying to do something much different than what was done in previous titles and change it up instead of doing the same thing each time.  I, personally, would like to see a comprehensive "Monday Night Wars" mode in which you can choose from WWF, WCW, or ECW and do any or all of those and see what happened with each company during that time that changed the course of pro wrestling history.  Imagine the rosters in that game!  It'd be the most comprehensive roster every made in a WWE game.

I mean I don't hate the franchise because they have brought cool things like Create an Arena, Logo, Superstar and the Announcement names from like Legends of Wrestling although they should bring back the weight announcement for your caws make more sense then just the place their from and the name. I wish they would bring a few more game modes like say I don't know nWo vs WCW mode, Season Mode and also this is one they really, really need and that's SHG (Superstars House and Gym) where it's quite similar to SvR 07 Locker Room execpt you can go out the door and do 3 things go to WWE to backstage and then match, Fan Interaction where you go to say a signing or axxess and answer questions and sign autograph which slowly builds your fame and popularity and also my favourite one. Which I like to call ''My Time'' where you go on a custom made tv and just talk either about training in nXt and if you want banter about a wrestler and then you face them the next week. The gym can even be used to build up on your points like Recovery, Toughness, etc...

These sound like a lot but this can then prompt 2K to win us over with these types and also allow us to use youtube and install titantrons for caws and also I hope u lot have seen or thought of this but bring in entrances and matches for more men in a stable and move the slots from 5 to 10 instead off having to keep doing trios and postions. I maybe a pain but woul be worth a few million...

Current Roster should take Priority then Legends after that. I love the 2k14 legends cause I am a huge wwf 80's/ territory day kind of fan but I do agree Current needs to come first.

I think they mostly took this route to commemorate Wrestlemania 30. Like Super Bowl 50 which is coming up in a couple of years. It's a milestone and it was also used to build up the coming return of Hulk Hogan to the ring.

I guess they wre just trying something different. I'm 36 years old so I love the old 80s stuff.

My biggest issue with the game is all of the SPAMMING that goes on during matches...but hey, that's just me.

Maybe they should actually give us what we want and thats a Legends based sim game. Not some crappy new type like LOWM was with a bad finishing move but spend some time on when the main series is.

If there was some way to delete the data of the entire roster current and replace it with just legends from old games Id be the happiest fan in the world.

NXT mode would make sense.

Take your caw through NXT, get destroyed by Cesaro, then form a tag team with Kofi or R-Truth, then get popular, then get injured or buried until your contract expires.

and Aubrey didn't make the series seem much better with his idiotic posts either

I believe they should make a full game based off retro eras for us guys who can barely watch wrestling now!... Like Legends of Wrestlemania (graphics and maybe gameplay) mixed with Showdown Legends of Wrestling (Roster) with great season mode & roster expanding from WCW & WWE/F'80s & 90s; And a Relive, Rewrite, Redefine mode for the guys who would relive history. They have to put effort in it as far as creation suite, matches, commentary, etc.

They need to bring in a weight thing aswell when they say where your caw is their weight and then name. Make more sense...

Just like how the do with names. you have the hundred section where they choose 100,200,300 or what ever hundreds place their caw weighs in. same thing with the 10s and 1s places. It's easy when you think about it.

Plus he used to scream in the mic. Why couldnt he just talk normal?

Man I wasn't very keen on Aubrey when he and brienj? Were talking about 2K14.

They should have the announcer say "at a combined weight of ___ the team of whoever and whoever"and if you chose a name for the team like the ones available they announce that too

Yeah, I mean isn't it on Legends of Wrestling? Those games were awesome. Weren't they part of the franchise?

Legends of Wrestling 1,2 and Showdown we're all developed and published by Acclaim. Fantastic games IMO,but never had anything to do with the WWE games series besides maybe a few people in the games in the WWE series

Finally a fan on the net that agrees with me on these games.

I just loved the Create a Wrestler mode on those games because you can see the time they took into giving us a proper set of call names. Pity THQ didnt take note on that.

Glad someone else noticed that too.  WWE games have the vastly superior morphing & appearance system but the LOW games had better call names.  WWE should use anyone past or present for call names that they had trademarked.  It's obvious WWE cannot use talent's real names because they cannot be trademarked but if Acclaim used them and didn't get in legal trouble, a bigger company like 2K should have no problems using them.

Yeah I noticed on LOW you could even use Undertaker or stone cold steve austin and it was very indepth on the names it had. I counted thousands.

A impressive roster that even 2K14 didnt beat.
