AlcLegacy Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Are there any videos on this? I was using GIMP but since I saw a lot if people use photoshop I went ahead and downloaded that. Quote
Ollie™ Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 It's down to personal preference, for my renders I use - doge, burn and sponge in Lab colour mode (much like in '13). Once I'm done I highlight the eyewhites, highlight eyebrow bones. And soften anything that's too sharp. I then use a 1 pixel brush with a colour of my choice and redo the eyes and make them pop. When all is done I sharpen the eyes, nose and mouths along with any tattoos. Finally, I duplicate the render then use hue adjust to lighten it up to the max, then go to select, contract and pick a size (around 1-3 pixels) and delete the inside (leaving only the "light-like" glow around them) and use an eraser to erase in the appropriate places (like where elbows bend and where pose changes.) Hope it helped (probably confused the crap out of you, Quote
