Question regarding Renders

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I was thinking about adding renders to my caw before releasing them. By doe's anyone know the dimensions the picture has to be to match up correctly to the ingame superstar renders? Not what they overall image has to be ( ex. the background),but the dimensions the superstar of the render has to be. Now,obviously I use .png to .dds ,but hopefully you will understand what I mean.

Oh,also, forgive me if this is the wrong place for this. I was pretty confident this doesn't belong in the modding section.

I think:

Overall 512x512

Then paste the picture and then drag the corner proportionally (Holding Shift or CTRL i dn't remember) until the height is as big a the overall render

But That;s the thing,on't that make the render too big? Because I believe the renders sit a little ways below the actual top of the image. I guess it'll be a trial and error thing haha

Do you have Skype? it'll be easier to explain while sharing my screen

Nevermind.

So here is what you do;

-Open a 512x512 Image

-Open another image that contains the image you want to use as a render

-On this image, resize PROPORTIONALLY with height being 512

-Copy this image and paste on the 512x512 image

I try a ingame Render(512x512) from WWE12 and this looks perfect.

What's the difference? I mean if I do 128 will it show up smaller or is that for the renders for Online mode?

128 is for the small pics shown like in my WWE or title management types I believe. Don't think I explained it right

Oh ok,so for example the 128 is what you see when you see a rendered caw on CC,correct?
