Titavius Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) In this Tutorial, I’m gonna show you how to turn your (pre 2008) 4:3 Titantron videos into 16:9 widescreen, without stretching, for use with WWE 2K14. For this, we’re going to use Virtual Dub. (This works better if you use an HD quality video) Drag your 4:3 Titantron video into VDub. The video in my example is an avi tron from SVR 2009. Hit Ctrl+F on the keyboard to bring up the Filter feature. Click Add to scroll through the list, find the resize filter, and click OK. Under the size options in the resize filter, make sure both Absolute(Pixels) and Disabled are both checked. To the right of Absolute(Pixels) in the top corner of the window, type 256 X 256 and click OK. In Filters, click Add and scroll down until you find Null Transform. Click it and hit OK. With Null Transform highlighted in the Filters menu, click Cropping. What you should see now is a window containing your 4:3 video, with X and Y offsets on either side. Change the Y1 offset from 0 to 30, and the Y2 offset from 0 to 36. This will crop your video to the 16:9 aspect ratio. When you’ve done this, click OK. The titantron video size in 2K14 is 320X224. To make our video this size, we need to hit Ctrl+F once again to bring up the Filters menu, and again click Add to scroll through the list. Find the resize filter, and click OK. Under the size options in the resize filter, again make sure both Absolute(Pixels) and Disabled are both checked. To the right of Absolute(Pixels) in the top corner of the window, type 320 X 224 and click OK. Click OK again to close the Filters menu. What you have now is your 4:3 Titantron cropped and resized to similar specifications that WWE use when cropping their older titantrons for use on TV. For now, we’re going to save our video file uncompressed, as we’re going to use it again in a later tutorial. To do this, choose File and click Save as AVI. In the next Tutorial, I’ll show you how to add your 320x224 Tron video to the Billboard Wrap around graphics, to make up the overall 320x320 video size. Edited February 26, 2014 by Titan83 Quote
