I wonder if this is all their ploy to get people to stop downloading CAWs so they can justifu removing the creation suite altogether next year when they step to the next generation.

Textures aren't needed that much anyway as i have released all my caws without them & people like them

 

They are. There are some stuff you just cant make by hand.

 

The worst thing is the controller I just wish we could draw via the ipad or idraw.

 

Besides which when you put too many stars on the PT it pixelates very badly. Not so much as bad as the US flag does yet if I do these via a PC and transfer over its spotless and isnt pixelated at all.

After the shitty modes are played then creation is the only thing that keep's it worth having, if they fuck that up then they can get fucked!!!

I feel bad my posts here and on caws.ws about my convo with 2K has caused such heated debate. I don't know anymore than what I posted but I took no liberties with what I typed as I posted near verbatim what was said to me. I imagine the technology is out there to track who downloads what but again I don't know. My ban is up Saturday and I'll be back as it was only two weeks. I still have 7 other accounts to post from no matter what ever happens so creators who want stuff up can send it my way. I'm curious are the SMK rendered creations from D0gcancer still on CC?

They would have to ban hundreds to thousands of people if they can track who downloaded imported content or content containing imported logos and textures. And if that was the case, I'm sure a great mass of this site would be banned already or soon to be.

I got a hold of 2k and they finally said it was for uploading modified items but said they have no idea how long my ban is or if it will be removed and gave me a ticket # but unlike big chris I don't have 7 accounts and only uploaded 2 things (that I Dl'd off the cc) so hopefully it gets resolved Edited February 26, 2014 by bobby de niero

Ok, for those who don't visit the 2k forum... from Jared

Hey folks, 

Apologies for the delay but it took a fair amount of time for me to dive into this and find out how we handle moderation for WWE online content, who handles it and what that team's current direction is. Now that I've got that sorted out, I have some news to share.

First and foremost, it's important that I let you all know what the folks in charge of moderation are typically on the hunt for. In no particular order, the main targets are:

- Cheats in ranked gameplay (hacked CAWs and movesets)
- Offensive content (nudity, derogatory content, curse words, etc)
- Hacked movesets
- Hacked CAWs (invisible wrestlers, etc)
- Content promoting third-party tools in descriptions
- Descriptions containing offensive content (namely curse words)

It's also important that I let you all know that if you've downloaded content which resulted in the creator being banned, you won't be punished.. unless of course, you turn around and upload that content yourself.

Those who are banned for Community Creations receive a temporary 2 week ban, while bans served for ranked gameplay are permanent.

BUT I'M AFRAID I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS...


Those who have been banned from Community Creations will have to allow their temporary 2 week bans to lapse. That's just how the system works, so I apologize for that.

Now that I've had a chance to meet with and chat with the moderation team, I hope you'll find that they'll be a bit more relaxed in their efforts should your Community Creations not fall into one of the categories above. Again, apologies for the delayed response. Thanks!

He went to clarify as much as he could without outright endorsing using an injector.... that they no longer care if you upload textures as long as they aren't offensive and don't mention 3rd party tools in the descriptions.

If it's just the ones with curse words and nudity/too much exposure, then I can totally get it and support it. 2K really is not dumb. They know that sites like these, along with those tools, give the games longevity and helps them.

No... he said that the moderators were too heavy handed banning people for uploading the caws, but they can't unban them for some reason.  Going forward they will not ban you for uploading a caw with a texture provided:

1. They aren't offensive

2. They don't mention 3rd party tools... so no "texture created with X program".  I would not even say thanks to Big Chris for the texture... even though it is polite... if Big Chris has on one of his descriptions that he used X program, then you could be banned too.  So, in this case, it is safer just to not mention anyone and maybe do credits here instead.

The only thing that worries me is I called 2k they couldn't tell me a reason so I appeal then I call back because the sent me an email for an Un ban from nba2k called them back the said it has been pushed to tier 2 but "if" this is correct me and spirito where banned on the same day the 15th so 14 days is the 29th I'll try and let you guys know

 

I find it Comical that you where shitting on this site and the nCo before you got banned and now because you have no other option you're on here.
