That really sucks, especially when the abusive hackers that upload and use hacked movesets get away with it.

I guess the safest thing to do is put something like Full credits listed on... ST, CAWS, SDH, etc.

 

Yeah that seems like the best thing to do, I still can't believe they're banning people for this!

So it is only texture credits and hacked stuff that is causing the problem. Last time i checked anyway, my creations were deleted again because of server errors and I've only got Mania and Payback available. Payback is pretty much spot on whilst Mania is just really...really not good at all. The worst. Lol.

It's textures causing getting banned as Bobby said he used someones logo that he found on CC and he credited that person & they both got banned.

Well this blows. I haven't uploaded many textures. Just a few belts and a Gargano shirt, so it'll be easy for me to remove. That is unless you mean textured CAWs as well, because in that case i'd be deleting a lot.

No just textures. And for CAWs..u only have to make sure that u didn't give credit to the texture uploader.

Unfortunately I seen something like this coming a mile away! Yukes and the developers (what left of them) have been trying to get rid face textures since they started being used. If they expect us to make caws without face textures with create a superstar mode nowadays they must be out their f@#$%ing minds! They have better update Create-a-superstar or be ready for the sells rate to decrease next game. Hopefully PS3 don't have this problem.

You're right it's not a problem. Like I said the better be ready for sells to decrease for future games, because that always happen when they take something vital out for example SVR 2009. They took the prodominant or main legends that were featured in the past 4 or 3 games before that one like The Rock, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and Hulk Hogan. And that game was named one of the worst wrestling games ever!.. by the way try making a top notch Triple H, Booker T, or Rock caw nowadays without textures and see how difficult it is. My caws ain't bad & i don't use textures i actually prefer not to use them.

yeah i mainly use textures for majority of mine because using the controller and the way they have it design in game i just can't do it lol trying to draw lines correctly everytime i do it just fuck it all up lol of course last years game was really first wrestling game i owned in years didn't own any of the svr games. my cuz had one but never created anybody on there cause didn't really play that much didn't like the way the controls were set up. and on 13 created people but mainly used downloaded logos. didn't know anything about save editors till like the very end right before 2k14 came out and the editor i did have for 13 didnt have texture just gender, abilities, create a finisher,entrance. 

 

but i mainly like creating horror themed wrestlers with alot of gore,and use halloween masks cause im not really that good at face morphing to try and get it to look exactly like someone because if u dont have they head properly morphed if u use a face texture of that person it wont look right. but with creating your own and esp using halloween masks looks alot better. only time i really use real face textures is if i download a wrestler who looks pretty close then i try to.

Banning for crediting others for uploading textures and those that upload them? Lol 2K should worry about something like fixing their own game and problems that still occur. You know i'm starting to believe some of these development teams just like to pick at a harmless small problems even though it's breaking the rules and requires system tampering, but it's what makes the creative community keep going and you can see everybody is happy with those textures and other logos, but I guess it's not a big deal. After all we could delete them and upload the created content again, but still like you said they're people still using hacked movesets and they're worried about texture crediting lol.

 

Edit: Also I agree that textures don't make the caw, but textures for arena's especially in 2K14 make the arena look more flashier and accurate.

It has absolutely nothing to do with giving credit I assure you on this. You are getting banned for using something made via an outside source (KG's Editor)

2K compares this to a virus as they see it as you injecting untested code into the game online and they worry how that will affect things. I posted a full FAQ on this in another topic. It should answer all of your questions.

Also while many of us can make caws without textures, all of the best ones use textures for the face, attire, or tattoos. Without textures the mode is ruined in my opinion. Try making uso's, Graves, or Wyatt without them lol. It would really limit who you could make and how many people you make.
