Petchy Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Never had this problem before. Editing Kane's WWE 12 Normal as usual and when I try to reinject it says 'Texture file must be the same size'. Both files are 1.3mb, both same size pixel wise, and never had this problem before. Compared the files properties and turns out the new version is a some bytes smaller. How is this even possible? Using the same DDS settings I have always used.... Original: 1,398,256 bytes New: 1,396,864 bytes So frustrating as should have been just a quick mod... Quote
Mathayus Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 You´ll need to extract all the files from 000A and create a new one in new- Texture file- inject the new normal.dds and the rest of textures. Normally I preffer to resize the DDS like current from 1024X1024 to 2048X1024. But isn´t needed. Quote
Red Rooster Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Another way to do it is open the normal.dds in a hex editor and add 00's at the end of the file to make it match the file size of the original. Quote
MrManolo135 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 The format for kane's wwe'12 normal.dds is DXT5 interpolated alpha, 11mipmaps Quote
Petchy Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 After literally just doing what I usually do, but in a new photoshop canvas of the same size, it worked every now and then. Completely random file! haha. Quote
