Questions from an Over-excited Noob

I just came across the modding section a few days ago. Needless to say I am beyond excited. I want to mod the crap out of my game with so many of these amazing customizations I have seen. While I am not new to modding I am new to modding a PS3. I have read over quite a bit of information since I found this awesomeness but there are still some questions that need to be answered. Whether I am confused by a topic or came up with a new one to ask about, here are my questions. Please understand that I am new to this type of modding and may ask what an experienced modder would already know.

Can character models from WWE '12 and WWE '13 be imported for use in WWE 2K14 as alternate attire for on-disc characters or new additions?

Reason: Diversity is the spice of life. And my favorite versions of some people appear in previous games.

I have read quite a bit on this subject but am a bit confused. I just need a solid yes or no for it.

How do you combine mods for alternate attires from different authors into one custom set?

Reason: There are so many great mods out there, many for the same character.

Can entrance videos, themes, ring announcer call audio, and animations be imported from WWE '12 and WWE '13?

Reason: New additions to the roster need their correct entrances and certain on-disc re-animations in 2K14 just don't live up to previous versions. *cough* CM Punk! *cough*

Can moves that have been removed from the previous two games be imported into 2K14?

Reason: Some moves should have never been taken out.

Is the only option for adding new characters into WWE 2K14 to overwrite existing ones?

I know this may seem like a dumb question but I just want to make sure some work-around or new trick hasn't been found. After seeing a list someone posted of the character slots in the game's coding I must say there were a lot of empty ones.

There you have it. I would greatly appreciate any answers to these questions. They will let me know just how far I can take the customization of this already great game.

Hi there and welcome,

Okay to answer you questions -

Can character models from WWE '12 and WWE '13 be imported for use in WWE 2K14 as alternate attire for on-disc characters or new additions?

For the PS3 you can only at this point add as an alt attire or overwrite ane existing superstar, there is no current way to add DLC, if you want to add to DLC then WWE13 is the game that it can be done on.

How do you combine mods for alternate attires from different authors into one custom set?

That would be done using Tekkens amazing Xpacker application there is more to it than that but thats the app to do it through.

Can entrance videos, themes, ring announcer call audio, and animations be imported from WWE '12 and WWE '13?

Trons can be added, entrance animations can also be added I believe but the audio cannot be modded at this point, however there is nothing from stopping you from creating a custom soundtrack and using a modified entrance theme that contains announcers.

Can moves that have been removed from the previous two games be imported into 2K14?

Think so, however never done this myself :)

As explained in question 1

There are more slots this year, but again us PS3 guys cannot utilize this as of yet until the Save gets figured out.

Thank you very much for the information. As soon as I get a bit more free time I will be all over this.
