How do injuries work in universe mode?

Hey guys, i have a quick question, How do injuries work in universe mode? ive seen them happen plenty of times in simulating, and in a match example: PPV Match, you lose end of match you get your skull planted on the steel post, thats how my caw was Injured. but ive seen Universe mode simulation injure people occasionaly. i want to know if there is a way to trigger injuries, if they happen at random points, if they will happen in certain rivalries, title or non-title rivalries, and if there is no way to trigger them, what are the chances of them happening? thanks

wish i knew this answer ive only ever seen 2 different scenes in the universe mode kinda getting annoyed not had one for ages but also on topic not had one injury yet i beat the living crap outta cena and nothing

I've done matches where I beat the opponent to full red body damage, did the OMG moments on all 4 barricades, announcers table, ring posts, tables etc.  Broken over 50 items... yet no injury... So yeah, I have no idea how it works.

Wow so injuries in this game are just a massive secret. maybe its a rivalry specific thing, ive only seen it happen to people in rivalries as of 2k14, in 13 i saw it happen much more..... strange

The most injuries I've seen was in WWE 12, though the person who was injured never stayed injured and tended to be back in the ring the following week, which sucked cause the script would say that they had suffered a major injury and would be unlikely they'd be able to return.

 

In 13/14 though, I've not caused any injuries myself, only as others have said, when the CPU does them after simulating a match

I never get an injury in 13 or 14. But in ´12 I got injured one of my mainly superstars for a long time and was normal to get injurys, but it comes random.

I have had two injuries Big E Langston who got injured at a PPV against Ryback in my first year of Universe. My second was Batista recently at a PPV against Del Rio. My problem is Big E has been injured for almost half of my first year of universe and still my second year. When will Big E come back. I tried doing another fued with Ryback to try and get that cutscene where ryback trys to break the foot of the oppenent but an injured guy runs out to stop. Didnt happen unfortunately.
