Have anyone successfully edited the MnLayHD?

Like in most of the files i am having troubles compressing the zlib files.I would like to know if anyone have find a a way to be able to compress the files without any problems.I tried that thing of convert to jpeg and then to dds but doesn´t allways work.

For some reason the compression fails for most of the pacs, now I'm not entirley sure why which is why I have to jiggle about with either the image size or the amount of black that is in the image. For some odd reason the more black you add the better chance you have of getting your image compressed in Xpacker. I've spent hours on images in the MnLayHD.pac file to try and get them to work. I've not found a sure fire method yet sadly...
