Connor MacLeod Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I have looked everywhere in this section & in the WWE 13 section, can someone point me to the exact tutorial of how to fix the WWE 12 pac files? Quote
jcsix Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I was thinking the exact same thing, especially since El Guapo mentioned Mathayus fixing the shine on them. Quote
gamingfan Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I think extracting 12 pach file and injecting it in any of the 14 pac file will fix some issues with lighting. Quote
El Guapo Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 You need to open the normal.dds and make the alpha layer darker - the brighter it is, the shinier the model. Just don't make it too dark, because completely black is invisible in the game (that's how I removed Booker's dreads and William Regal's hair) Quote
Connor MacLeod Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Do you have a recomended level of decrease? I also thought I read about inject certain files into WWE 12 pacs from a WWE 13 or 2K14 pach? But like I said I can't the info again anywhere. Edited January 27, 2014 by Connor MacLeod Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 The decrease would change from alpha to alpha, what may world for one alpha texture may not work for another. Quote
Mathayus Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Tutorial: The thing about to extract the pach file from 12 and inject in 2k14 pach don´t work. The pac file is only a container, it doesn´t matter, any info is here. Each model from 12 is different, some of them don´t need to fix the brightness. Try making 60 points darker. Some of them need 80 others only 20. But remember to don´t making darker the hair parts or the eye. When this part is done, maybe you´ll need to adjust the skin color, cause some models looks lighter. Now you´ll need to fix the A.I. and the emotions casue if not, when you play against the machine, the AI don´t do nothing. In the pach files are one file that control the emotions, I don´t know what file is exactly, but you noly need to get that file and inject into the pach, or easier, get all the textures from 12 model and the model files and inject it over a 2k14 pach file. Quote
jcsix Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 So you could essentially extract all the from a 12 PACH and insert into Tekkens 2K 14 dummy (Along with the fix of the alpha)? Say, once the alpha has been fixed, wouldn't that mean the slot 2 will be darker than before? As I remember slot 2 was fine. Quote
Connor MacLeod Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Ok I think I got the alpha thing down, all I need is to know which files I need to control the emotions and ai to inject. Quote
Mathayus Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 You don´t need any dummy.pac. The WWE´12 pac files works fine. What you need is a WWE´13 or 2K14 pach. Then inject the texture files: 000A, 000C, 000D, 000E, 000F... If they got it. The D to F files are the superstar thread files. So you can let it out. The yobj or model files: 0000 (the model), 2710 (the hair and facial hair model) There is one more model file what is the eyebrows but I don´t remember what file is it. Quote
Petchy Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 If someone could upload fixed 2K14 versions of '12 guys that would be a great help.. Quote
Deka_Night Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Damn Hope X-Rey Can Solve This Problem i tried its def in the model itself :-( Edit: Funny thing while i was messing around i think it has to do something with the Wrinkles B/C what i noticed is that newer models have all the wrinkles on one alpha were WWE12 model have them split up into 5 if x-rey can edit those and make them one layer you might be able to fix the face fuck ups in the models Edited February 23, 2014 by Deka_Night Quote
