ajleesus Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hey guys, so I want to showcase some gameplay and stuff like that and I was wondering how I can record gameplay without a camera or something. Do I have to download something on my PS3 or something? I just want to do videos like how @Smacktalks does. Thanks Quote

the King Lives Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 i just choose not to because it takes too much time to upload mine records up to 1080p and 1080i Quote
fufu ÷ Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 i just choose not to because it takes too much time to upload mine records up to 1080p and 1080i I seriously doubt it, given that nothing on the first 3 pages of Google show anything that record above 480p - based on the device you named. Quote
the King Lives Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 i made a mistake didn't get it from amazon got it from tiger direct but it was 49 and does record in hd. I don't really upload my vids anymore because of youtube's fups Quote

You've EXPORTED to 720p, but the file itself is 480p. It's obvious by the lack of sharpness, man. I spend 8 hours a day working with HD footage, and that aint HD. Quote
ECWDanSelby Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Cheap alternative? I use a smartphone, place it on something stable, then just crop out any unnecessary bits! Costs nothing, still looks ok! I had my lamp on in this video, but if you have all lights off, it'll look 10 times better: Quote
mrblacksheep Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I use EZ grabber2 that I got from amazon around the 20 dollar mark after my HDPVR died on me. Quote

Not always, Roxio HD is the cheapest and does both HDMI and Component. But Elgato, HD PVR2 are a lot more. But better for more powerful PC's. Quote

It's like $100+, since these are Americans, as far as I can tell. It's like £90 for UK, or was when I was looking to buy my capture device. I'd still recommend an Elgato above a Roxio though, since you get flashback and a better exporting format + it's just a better image too. Quote
the King Lives Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 i give up.... people think they know everything.. my device uses component and i know what it says on the box but whatever... Quote
