Updating Arc file is causing fatal crash error

Recommended Posts

I have started a new thread as I feel things have evolved since I first started having problems and I imagine many will skip my thread as it's high on the noob scale.

Basically, for whatever reason whenever I update my Arc file (whether it be for alt attires or even a basic single mod) I get fatal crash error as the game boots up.

I've spent two days trying different things, different mods, community dlc etc but something irregular is going on when x-packer updates the arc.

Was wondering if anybody had any suggestions what may be causing this?

Thanks

I have mate, many many times. I mod a fresh Arc each time and each time I get a crash.

I've backed up with xbox backup creator, any other package worth trying?

Take  screenshots of each process that you are doing.Maybe you are doing something wrong.

Upload the pac file and your arc and I will update them and re-upload them.

Here you go mate, my clean Arc and the Y2J Mod file (just one of the many I have tried!!!)

Would you mind screen capturing your screen while you do it please? Video or Images?

When I started having the issues you are experiencing it was my HDD that was going on my console rather than the game.

hi mate, just tried the files and they didn't work.

Tried on my existing installation on my external hdd (works fine with default Arcs) no good

Did a completely new rip of the game and put on my internal hdd (works fine with default Arcs) and added your files - didn't work

Tried the Updating Arc process again on my fresh Arc and again failed...baffling, it just doesn't work!!

...I don't suppose it matters that my console is RGH rather than jtag does it!?

do you mind if I upload my new, clean Arc for you to try again?

It's completely strange, I have followed the tutorial to the letter!

Could it be caused by the Title update being activated?

If you are using a Title Update, your arc file never it´s going to work. Get out the TU and everything will works fine.

yup, absolutely flying now, just installed community DLC 2 and I am going to love this game so much more now!

Quick couple of questions...

Is it relatively easy to update the attires for the wrestlers in the community DLCs?

Is there no way of adding the TU to the game and for the mods to still work?

Thanks for your help(s)

Yes its exactly the same as adding attires to the in-game wrestlers.
