Banks GFX Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Where is the color wrong? In KG's tool or in the game? KG's Tool Quote
kim666 Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Redownload the archive and try an empty painttool file, if that works (you should see 5 transparent 256x256 logos), then something is wrong with your .dds files. Quote
trh2 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 You've probably saved the dds in the wrong format. It'll throw off your colours if you choose the wrong 8888. Quote
Banks GFX Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 You've probably saved the dds in the wrong format. It'll throw off your colours if you choose the wrong 8888. well i chose the one that Judders showed me, if you read up you can show me which one to use if possible because the one that judders showed me to use switches the colors Quote
Judders Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I did show you the wrong one. Just went back and read my post. It's A8R8G8B8(Transparent). Quote
Banks GFX Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I did show you the wrong one. Just went back and read my post. It's A8R8G8B8(Transparent). hmm seems it still doesn't work but i'll keep trying also if i upload the file do you think you can see if i did it right? here's the File http://www4.zippyshare.com/v/39317510/file.html Quote
Judders Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 You'll have to remake the DDS files. Reopening them and then saving them as the correct format will probably not work. Quote

Judders Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Cool. Glad to help (even though I steered you wrong at first). Quote
kim666 Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 i tried it, A8B8G8R8 works in KG's tool and looks strange, but it won't work in the game. A8R8G8B8 works fine. Quote

A8R8G8B8 works fine. i looked at the end of the video and instead of putting it directly onto your USB you gotta put it into the Unlocked Gamesave and click eather EU or US to get it to work lol i never watched the video but im glad i did this time Quote
iamthedoctor Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Does the save need to be unlocked? As some have said it does and others have said no. I would have thought it would just be a case of swapping one paint tool file and replacing it with another one like BrienJ's old SVR 2010 mod on the 360 used to be. Or is it completely different with the PS3? Quote
kim666 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 The PS3 allows to backup a gamesave to usb, but the game developer/publisher decides if they want this feature or not. THQ/2K decided against ^^ That means the Savegame is locked to the PS3 and you can't backup it to usb. A locked Gamesave shared by a jailbreak PS3 user is also useless, your PS3 wont allow you to copy it back. But thanks to the PS3 jailbreak and the hardworking homebrew dev flatz, we can now unlock this Gamesave and copy it from usb to your PS3. If you place a logos.dat/painttool file inside of this Gamesave folder it gets also copied on your PS3. Every wwe2k14 logos.dat will work on every PS3. Yes you need a unlocked Gamesave to use a logos.dat/painttool file. And yes you can swap one logos.dat/painttool file and replacing it with another one Quote

Judders Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 It's for retail. Follow the steps in the unlock thread, and you'll have an unlocked save. It's only made possible by a jailbroken save being made available to do the process, which it has. Quote
darrenk Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) can someone please help me i keep getting the messege that the picture is too big. its 256x256pixels but it just keeps saying its too big any ideas. please help !!!! no worries i did it Edited February 10, 2014 by darrenk Quote
iamthedoctor Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I have followed this guide 15 times now and every time I get 78 DA 7C and I really dont know why its not giving me EC the first time I load hex editor up. Up to this point I have followed the guide word for word and the exact way of the tutorial video except the paint.net bit and yes I made sure its the ARGB four 8 ones. I deleted my paint tools redownloaded tall the programs and made new paints and deleted the old ones but still the same thing. But ive no idea why I keep getting this. Incredibly frustrating. Quote
iamthedoctor Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Forget my last message I finally realised every persons data is different. At first I thought data hadent worked as said corrupted but just tried dl ing a logo on creations and they were there so thats a huge sigh of relief. Quote
iamthedoctor Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Yes it is. I tried it with 5 PTs but didnt work but tried 4 and worked a charm. On checking the video seems on the OP it should say to go to save game tools and copy the logo.dat into the EU folder or the other folder depending which region your in and resign it. I didnt do this before and reckon its the reason why It took me a while to realise what I hadent done. Quote
