KomicJ Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Hey guys. I could use your help completing my WWE 2K14 line-up. Being a kid from the 80's, I have some very basic knowledge of the WWE, TNA and NXT, but I'm pretty much out of the loop about the indy scene. I realized however I was having much more fun with the wrestlers I know very little or nothing about. So I thought I would ask you to share your knowledge a bit... I'd like to run a smallish NXT/ROH promotion, that would mostly feature some good technical wrestlers. But I think I might be lacking a bit in terms of variety of styles, and stature. There are 14 spots left on my roster, so here's what I'd be looking for: - 1-2 tag teams. - 3-4 bigger men, but who also have an "indy" feel to them. - 3 female wretlers (and I mean wrestlers, not interested in those who are only competing in bikini contests). I'm mostly interested in indy wrestlers, though I wouldn't mind adding 1 or 2 "ticket sellers", that either have a strong indy background (ala CM Punk) or a certain indy feel (ie. toying with the idea of adding RVD right now). Also, being out of the loop, maybe I'm missing some key partners/rivals to a wrestler already in the line-up. If that's the case, feel free to suggest, that might be a good way to fill it up. I would like to see that Here are some suggestions: Paul London & Brian Kendrick, the Youngbloods, add Homicide and maybe even Ruckus to form a Tag Team with Eddie Kingston, and maybe Antonio Cesaro to reform the Kings of Wrestling (Ohno and Cesaro). The idea is to set another Monday Night War between a young, less fortunate promotion (NGW) and their evil rivals, the Global Wrestling Alliance (GWA), which will be filled with bigger names, mostly current and former WWE and TNA stars (but no Cena), leaving "draft" on, so that wrestlers can jump from one promotion to another, like they did during that time. Yeah, Jerry Lynn would be a good fit...maybe make a veterans stable with him, Kid Kash, & Low Ki or something. Super Crazy and Amazing Red would be a nice tag team. You could always throw Callihan and Ambrose back together if you need tag teams... David Young and Sonny Siaki were mean powerhouses in the early X-Division that have since disappeared. I've always been a fan of Douglas Williams' in-ring work, and his finisher can be made in CASM. Maybe put him in a tag team with Burch? Female-wise, you could let Naomi actually wrestle. That girl can GO in the ring. No idea why she isn't the one going after AJ Lee right now. I'd say Maryse just because I miss seeing her being the hottest thing ever...and I don't usually find blondes attractive. Surprised no one has said Awesome Kong/Kharma yet.
