iconbadgta Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Well finally i got things figured out from a complete newbie idiot standpoint and i wanted to sit and do a tutorial to help those that were like me and are completely dumbfounded on how to even begin to start modding the wwe2k games. Here is a list of things you have to have! Tools: Xpacker 9 (Tekken57) Xbox image browser or "Xbc" Xbox backup creator The Game You must have a copy of your game, aka "iso" file... This can be obtained several ways.... 1. By owning a "rgh" or "jtaged" modified xbox and using it to backup your disc unto a usb drive etc. 2. Copying your game through your pc with a comparable disc drive and software That allows you to do so with xbox games. 3. downloading a copy of the game from the internet. Now the 3rd option is illegal and a big no no, so where going to assume you made a copy of your own game for the purpose of this tutorial. Once you have the contents of the game in a folder on your pc, open the folder and there should be 3 files.. The biggest will be your "iso" file that contains all the data of the game. Download The program "xbox image browser" off the internet or go to team-xecuters website and download "xbc" (xbox backup creator) Both Programs have a xbox image option that allows you to open or "look" inside the actual iso file and extract it's contents. Have a folder seperate on your desktop for each types of files you wish to extract.. Ie a folder named maybe "wrestlers" for the .pac files of the wrestlers you can extract from the iso... A list of each wrestler or "pac" file can be found here: http://smacktalks.org/forums/index.php/topic/44532-wwe-2k14-complete-ch-and-bg-pac-list/ Also to avoid confusion have a folder called "arenas" for the arena files or (.bg) files you extract. Once you have extracted each file you wish to edit close out the xbox image browser... From there go to this page and continue with the tutorials per which mods you wish to begin with. It's just that simple! List of tutorials: I want to thank Red rooster for all of his patience and help as well as Tekken for his help and awesome program xpacker! Quote
