ECWDanSelby Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Yeh, just wondered if there's any way of modding the weapon skins easily? I have a flashed Xbox and that's it. I'm currently using KG971's excellent PT tool. I basically want to mainly mod the table skin to put barbed wire/tacks or whatever on it! Thanks a lot. Quote
Red Rooster Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Not on a flashed Xbox, you would need a JTAG/RGH Quote
Judders Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Could you not in theory, mod the files, put them onto a disc and install them? It could be a lot of trial and error, but what you guys are doing is modding the game files... I'm probably very wrong, but to me in theory it should work. You'd have to burn a new disc every time when you add new mods. Quote
HotavioH Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 ^ Normally this don't work so Great.... Because, if ANY type of files, get bigger or smaller than the original file, it gonna crash in game.... Happened to me about 7 times... Quote
Auday Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 ^ Normally this don't work so Great.... Because, if ANY type of files, get bigger or smaller than the original file, it gonna crash in game.... Red Rooster Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 As long as the file you are replacing is larger than the one you replace it with then it should be possible but it will be a pain in the ass. I used this method with SVR2011 to add LOWM models but really if you are interested in modding the game a RGH/JTAG is the only way to go, I wish Id done mine years ago. Quote
ECWDanSelby Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure if it was a similar method to modding the in-game characters at all. Would be cool to change some weapons, too ie. making a chair a stop sign. Quote

VARIOUS files convertions to fix "Pac" sizes... but it worked only 2 of 31 tries lol Quote

Piper Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Invest in a JTAG/RGH. Best decision I ever did when I pick one up for the SVR 2010 Brienj hack Quote
Dbo2700 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Yea. After seeing the model mods last year on this site, I had to go get a jtag. Best thing I ever did. Quote
