Next time that man child goes on a rant in his moms basement about how the NCO's CAWs are just textures with minimal morphs, I will direct him to this topic LOL. (Not the original poster but I have seen the owner of another site on Twitter repeatedly say this shit about our stuff.)

@Original poster - Seriously, I don't think i can give much advice here, you need to watch some tutorials on how to CAW and make textures. I would never suggest using real pics but if you do at least cut out the eyes and nose holes and use pics without a strong light source. When you cut out the face use feathering to soften the edges so it will blend into the skin of the CAW.

appreciate the info

No problem. Auday has some texture tutorial videos that might help. I think it has templates for where certain features on the face need to be on the texture so they sit properly on a CAW and stuff like that.

and since people on here so criticizing on morphing why dont someone create a sticky post with formulas to the wrestlers faces & bodies. im sure it would help out alot of people like myself who aren't that good and making accurate morphing.

Criticism is the name of the game on a CAW board...that's what we do here.  Comment, suggest (mainly to those who are willing to take the criticism and definitely don't post saying theirs is better than everyone else's), or even plain out tell you it's not good or like you are seeing on that other board, just open it, see it, and don't post a comment.

As far as "formulas", that hasn't been done in years ever since CC came about....trust me, we all used to do that.  Now that CC/Live is the way to release, the boards are mainly used for previewing and getting ideas (which we've been giving you by saying to take more care/time into using textures properly instead of just finding a face image and slapping it on).  What you are making will never look better unless you start there.

And that's Doc/Iamnomodders, not mine.  ;)

I might cut a lesnar face out of a mag put a tight on my head then superglue it to my face and F5 the local shop keeper!

:lol

Lets not jump all over this guy too much. Yes his CAWs right now don't look great, and he has just slapped on a texture. Everyone starts somewhere. Audey, you did exactly the same thing when you started out, so jumping on him for slapping the texture on is a bit laughable.

That said, these do look like they need a lot of work, and not have faces slapped on masks!

at least i used the games textures and i didn't slap them over masks with no morphs, also why did you pick me from all of those people? and my name is Auday btw not Audey. :p

Let's help the dude instead of just bashing his shit. I mean, how many guys in the world make CAWs and share in this hobby with us? And you guys wanna' bash him to the point where he quits? Right... We all have to start somewhere. Lay off of him a bit.

Yeah I Agree Completely No One Starts Off The Best We Should Help Him Not Insult Him Plus The Reason He Put it Up Here Was To Get Some Help Not Be Insulted I've Been Creating For A Few Years Last Year I Started Creating Real People & I Sucked Yet This Year I'm Better So If We Help Him Get Better So Next Time Don't Say It's A Texture On A Stick Or Whatever Just Say It Doesn't look Good & Offer Him Suggestions Instead Than It Could Become A Very Good Bam Bam

To be fair, step #1 would be learning how to use the CAW system itself.  You have to learn a) how to morph...faces and bodies both (that big head on a small body in itself says he needs to start working there)....b) how to use designs to do detailing (even textured CAWs tend to need additional detailing to fix areas...like in this the lack of eyebrows I mentioned, or the improper facial hair shaping)....then and only then should you c) really be delving into texturing.  To me, it's a bit of a joke when someone comes on these boards and just slap a picture of a real person front shot image with shiny lighting on the side of the face on a mask like he did before he removed it

Image12302013154802.jpg

and then people say "give him a chance"...my effort to help more will come in when he puts IN a better effort and takes his time and tries to not rush his learning thinking "texture importing" is where he needs to start....if it is, start with attires first....till you learn what you are doing in the base system. Try making one non-textured first...get ideas and used to the system...then try out texturing.  There's not much more I can say to help with that above that wasn't said...sorry.  Not trying to bash, just stating the facts.
