goldislead Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) This is a 100% pure ECW moveset, which has a far more emphasis on chain grappling, strikes and armbars than any other Taz set you'll see. Enjoy! A Couple Notes: Since there is no proper head & arm suplex in the game I've put several versions of the exploder. Also, I've used the Buzzkiller for the Tazmission, in addition to Sleeper Hold 2 because if you ignore the single chickenwing, the takedown & bodyscissors & annimation are much more accurate. *I replaced one of the groggy arm limb targets with "Danielson Special". He did do a rare double arm suplex, and did a cross armbar all the time, but he never floated the two together. It does, however, work very well in his set. If you want absolute accuracy, then replace with Anaconda Vise 1 or Front Necklock. Righteous Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Looks good from what I can see. How about changing out the Front Facelock and Wristlock Limb Target grapples. The Gourdbuster is more fluent from a FF position, and the Back Suplex is more fluent from the WL. Quote
goldislead Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) Good call Bro! Thanks for the advice. Y'know, as great as D-Throws are, I really miss ultimate control grapples. I added the Gourdbuster, because he used to always lift up an opponent for a vertical, and then set them on the top turnbuckle and dump them on the ropes into a hangman....I miss being able to do that in older games. I really hope that physics and ring awareness are improved in the next game. I mean...if you hit "Belly to Belly 1" with your back right against the ropes, you should throw your opponent out ringside. And also being able to crotch your opponent on the ropes or slam their leg against a ring-post from the outside. And be able to assume a mount and enter a mini-game of sorts with crosses and jabs. It seems that Yukes went for a "realism" to their gameplay, starting with '12, and I love the customization and limb targeting, but if they're trying to create a realistic exhibition, there's a definite interactivity that should be in the game. I don't know about you Righteous, but I'm certain reintroducing 2 reversal buttons would make the experience such much more immersive and fun. Part of the fun of past games was studying your friend's patterns and learning when to reverse either strikes or grapples. Edited January 3, 2014 by goldislead Quote
