I think ruyji's face is final, attire is still a work in progress.

Kasai is rough as guts at the moment, and I'm still tweaking.

Would love to get some feedback on what you guys think.

Thanks, the picture doesn't really do it justice. His face isn't as squashed, and his eyes aren't so blue.

Same with Ryuji's body, his legs aren't that squashed.

I feel like Ito's hair is wrong. It's probably one of the closest to his actual hairstyles but it's too high for me personally.

 

Good start on Kasai. I'd say change the face skin though. Not sure how you're doing the hair (Does he even still have the ponytail? Been a while since I've seen him) but there was a guy who always made Kasai and he used the tassle in the "Other Headwear" section to make it.

 

Who else are you planning for this project?

Yea, I found it was the best hair for Ito. I used designs to lower the fringe, but it's really the best available on the game.

I've seen the tassle that's been used on Kasai (and Jaki) in the past, but I didn't really like the look of it. I've gone with using a custom logo. Its not the greatest, but looks good in game.

I was also thinking of making a blonde hair attire too.

As for whose next, still a bit unsure. I have a Kobayashi in the works, but he's been proving difficult to get right.

So maybe Deisuke Sekimoto, or Jaki Numuzawa..

Updated Jun Kasai face pic

I tried out different skin textures, but couldn't find one the gave the proper eyes, with good cheek and forehead textures.

Adjusted the mouth dimensions, worked on eyes to make him more Asian - less Caucasian.

Adjusted lip colour, and jaw size.

@ sXeMope, yeah that was me who used the tassle, and yeah, he still has the ponytail on the back of his head.

 

For the skin tone, I'd suggest 8, and increase the age up a bit to show a more scarred looking forehead, the lips need to have the angle decreased to say -5 to -15. The eyebrows need to be slightly angled down a bit, the cranium should be slightly increased and decrease the jaw width slightly, lower the jaw height 1 or 2 clicks and finally don't forget the laugh lines on his face (I'd suggest using some slightly darker skin designs), they've become more prominent lately.

 

 

It's not the worst thing I've seen, Ito still looks a bit off and I've got Kasai in progress, though I'll try to post a face ref pic for both. Good luck on these, we're definitely going to have to get all the Big Japan wrestler creators we can,

Thanks Storm, I've seen your CAWS from last year.

As I said, the Kasai is rough at the moment. He definitely has a look that's hard to get on a caw.

Just out of interest, who do you have planned to make?

With Ito, I used the same gloves you're currently using and put Paint Tools for the designs on the gloves.

 

I've also got at least 25 Big Japan wrestlers planned with 5 slots open for options, though I am very picky, I've got Numazawa finished too, but I'm going to finish and work on more guys before previewing him, Kasai and a few others.

Make sure you give Kasai some laugh lines using designs, Ito looks pretty good with the update, make sure you give him just kickpads with the open kneepads and not the kickpads with kneepads as one (sorry if that's confusing at all).

The laugh lines are there, just unfortunately they don't show up on the picture as well as they do in-game.

And I'll be sure to give Ryuji the proper kick pads.
