can you interfere in edited matches?

If I was to edit a match by changing the opponents all together, can I still have a wrestler interfere, I.e where you get a cut scene of the ref being knocked down, can this all be done in a completely edited match? Cheers

Why would you want to edit a rivalry match?

Because I'm constantly facing the same dude pretty much every week, it gets tedious and boring

However editing rivalry matches kind of helps get rid of the boredom
