Sharing custom stories

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I was looking into sharing custom stories as a new feature of X-Packer. However when looking into the save file it turns out there was no entry for the custom stories. So sharing custom stories is easy:

1. Open a custom story using modio.

2. Change the profile and console ID to your profile and console ID.

3. Copy to your save directory.

There is no need to edit the save file at all and the game picks up the custom story.

I'm not very good at creating stories. Seeing as though we've added most of the WCW guys via dlc and the nWo dlc, does anyone want to create a WCW invasion story and share it with us?

If someone has access to Live, perhaps they can share this story: nWo vs The Shield. Here's a comment from another forum. Sounds like something many of us would enjoy, especially if the comments below are accurate.

Compelling.

That is the word i'd use to describe the NWO vs. The Shield story on Community Creations. Make no mistake, while the name is nWo vs. The Shield, that is not the ONLY story going on, infact there are several tales being told, all of which feel fresh, original, and make great use of the WWE 2k14 deep roster. Legends from past and present are all intertwined flawlessly, in an imaginary universe that sucks you in with its well told story.

Backgrounds are given, but brief and leave alot to imagination. This creates a fast interface uncluttered. the nWo vs. Shield concept is what made me download it, but without question it was the Undertaker/Paul Heyman tale, and the Midnight Madness concept between Randy Savage and R-truth that really made me feel like anything was possible.

This person, knows wrestling. They know presentation. And they execute it here flawlessly to every detail.

This story made up for any lack of "In game story mode" beyond 30 years of Wrestlemania. Infact, it might be the best story i've seen in a wrestling game, ever. Its fun to play, exciting to see what happens, and inspiring on all cylinders of creativity.

Simply put, thankyou.
