xbdecompress in Windows 8

Anyone have issues with running xbdecompress in Windows 8?

I get the system error "The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer".

I was running everything fine on my old XP until the motherboard fried, I just recently bought a new pc with Windows 8, so I copied MSVCR71.dll from my XP System32 folder into the Windows 8 System32 folder and it still gives the system error..do I need to change a path somewhere?

Try putting in the same place as xbdecompress and it should work, but if i'm not mistaken it will ask you for one more dll file. I just can't remember which one.
