I've been watching WWF/WWE from 2002 and it's my favourite year without doubt, so I'm going to recreate it this year in 2K14.

 

Here's what I have in mind. This will be a combination of CAWs and mods to get the entire roster.

This is subject to change and some of the mods could be done as CAWs or whatever. If people are interested in helping with this project then there are a couple of things I need. If there's anyone I've missed then let me know!

Textures
If anyone has any attire textures from previous mods or CAWs they've done for any of the roster from past games then they would be amazingly helpful! Full credit will be given of course. If anyone wants to make any full textures for mods or textures for CAWs from scratch then that would be awesome too. I'm looking to start Tajiri in the next couple of days and I'll need attire textures. If I can't get my hands on the textures easily enough then I'll only be making 1 or 2 attires per CAW/mod. I don't have the time to hunt around and find them all by myself!

Movesets
I can do movesets myself and I always study video after video and make them as accurate as possible and I expect the same to be done if you're interested in helping.

CAWs
If you have made or have seen a decent start for any of the CAWs on the list and feel like they could benefit from my tweaking then (with permission) send them on over to be used in this project/save.

 

Entrances

Entrances are something I just do not care about in the slightest, but I know that a lot of people do so any help with those would be great!

Attributes

I'm looking for an overhauled, realistic attitubute system to work well ingame and have a better balance. It needs to be realistic and therefore no-one apart from RVD should be springing to the top rope, hah! Everyone else has to be slow enough to climb the ropes but everyone needs to be relative to that speed. That also goes for striking and grapple damage etc.

Arenas

Every arena from every PPV in 2002 would be great but it's a little unrealistic. Even just a great RAW and SmackDown! arena would be great and I'm talking about the new area sets not the Attitude arenas.

 

If you love this era as much as I do then help out in any way that you can! If you send me CAWs to use for the project/save then understand that I will tweak them and you have to be okay with that!

It's a great Idea.. even so, that I attempted the same era myself last year. However, the only thing that puts me off doing a 'project' again this year is the fact that there's no way to create truly accurate arenas.

 

The only way to create an accurate Raw / Smackdown arena would be to mod the template aprons, replacing the in-game designs. This is proving to be a nightmare. And then of course, there's the logo size restriction. So even if you imported your apron through paint tool hacking, it's going to look ridiculous anyway.

 

However, don't let CAA put you off! I'm not sure if you've seen my WWE '13 topic, but if there's anything you need that I can help with, just let me know

I did think about this, yeah... I'd rather have a slightly off looking arena than no 2002 arena at all though to be honest. I can't believe they still haven't fixed the size issue... It's really, really lame. Classic 2HQ!

About the Logos, Theres some logos which can be made bigger correct? Have to track those logos down!

I'm open to whatever attires for RVD; he changed them so damn often, hah. Booker looks sweet and you and Birdy are doing an awesome job so no worries about that. Haas and Benjamin I may include at a later date but I wanna' get the main guys from 2002 down before I add some of the newer guys who debuted towards the end of the year.

I'm thinking of doing a Moveset for the retro Rock so around 2000 - 2002ish, same goes with Eddie Guerrero and possibly Hogan.

 

I'm literally starting it after I get Xmas over with and I'll even be nice and type them out the old fashioned way xD.
