Custom-R
I did Scotty 2 Hotty. I must say, I'm more impressed with this CAW, as it was a pain to work with.
mrblacksheep
Torries face looks default and ayybe its the quality of the pic but STH eyes look a bit too far apart.
Custom-R
Thanks for pointing that out! I guess something was amiss on Torrie. I assure you I did mod Torrie's face! And yeah, about the quality of the pics--I mostly use a Nintendo 2Ds's camera. I can't really afford a camera with better quality at the moment. Plus, the TV I use is a classic 20-incher, and doesn't have a flat screen.
Custom-R
I was working on Victoria, and this is what I have: I looked at a WWE '13 formula: I made a few adjustments to my Victoria CAW. Custom-R
Just finished Victoria and uploaded her. I also did Grand Master Sexay. Got his outfit based on WWF No Mercy.
mrblacksheep
Well that victoria caw has a texture so the formula would be useless, unless you used it for the body shape.
Custom-R
Well that victoria caw has a texture so the formula would be useless, unless you used it for the body shape. Hm. I guess you're right..., but I've never used downloaded face or body textures for any of my caws. I've never done that before. But, yeah I was going for the body type. I want to make sure I had that one down. *I've decided to modify my list.* Victoria ('06-07) -Triple H (DX)--opted not to put this one on SmackTalks. (I uploaded it on Community Creations, though...) -Scotty 2 Hotty -Grand Master Sexay -Beth Phoenix ('08-09) -John Morrison ('11-12) -Torrie Wilson ('06-07) -Bull Nankano -Mike Knox ('10-11) -Kelly Kelly Edited December 14, 2013 by customracer209
Big Pete®
not being a twat BUT its default city up in here!
Custom-R
On all my CAWS? Wow, this is a tough playing field. But I see where you're coming from. I have a habit of starting from scratch, but this style of mine is meant for speed, so you may say I'm a speed CAW-er. But as I said before, I do morph the faces and the bodies. I also use references, games, and what I see in matches. (I know I got Torrie wrong. I confused her with Tori!) I even try to emulate some of the best guys and develop my own style going forward. Big Pete®
xpac and hottys attires look ok though... that beard on s2h is real default though.
Custom-R
Hm. Okay, so something tells me it's time to download some textures. I know that I'm good with attires, so I won't have to worry about that for a while. I'll get to working on Mike Knox, from when he was in WWE (to go easy on myself), and then I'll try to continue working on Beth Phoenix. mrblacksheep
I doubt there are textures up for most of the caws you have or are going to create. You're better of tweaking them without.

Doesn't look like it, tbh. All of these CAWs except for Victoria look extremely default, Victoria looks okay but still doesn't look much like her. Xpac has a bad picture, but even with that posted I can tell you didn't even touch the beard, you picked a default option and just moved a long. The attires are nice, but the likenesses are way off. I don't know what you mean by "having your own CAW style/developing your style", because when it comes to CAWing, it either looks like the person it's supposed to be or it doesn't. The best CAWers take their time to get likenesses and everything down pact, there's no such thing as "having my own style". It's why they have so many people who admire and follow their efforts and CAWs, because they take their time with their work and the final product is usually sensational. People who just half-ass it, and don't take the time to get everything right, usually don't stick around long as CAWer's. As said before, either it looks like who it's supposed to be or it doesn't. And you're either a CAWer or you're not. It's not for everybody. Again, the attires are nice, but everything else is just way too default, right now. This is the type of feedback I like, even if it seems harsh. I see why you say that. I have very little experience in truly modding people's faces, or even truly capturing the essence of them, but I'm not backing out of this. I will get better. For me, this is like learning to drive a car. As for why I didn't touch the beard? Hm. That's actually a strange thing about me. I usually never tend to place any designs or anything on the face on that much. *I'm working on Beth Phoenix first, so I can see if I can not make something look so default. I took some pages from my younger brother and started to really shrink eyes and things of that nature. I also went to WWE '13 to look at Beth closely, get a picture to work off, and I also looked at SmackDown Vs. RAW 09 to verify an outfit.*
King Paulie
I hear you, there's guys who started CAWing last year who weren't very great, but they kept at it, followed peoples suggestions and made very good CAWs, those very good CAWs, turned into great CAWs and this year, they're up there with the top CAW makers who've been at it for years. I ain't gon' say no names but they know who they are. So it can be done, you just gotta take time with it, man, if you don't have the time, it's cool. Just don't put out half-assed shit, you know what I mean? Why don't you use designs on faces and such? Designs are usually what enhances the CAW and it's facial likeness to the actual superstar. I'd say 98% of CAWers use designs, in most cases it's needed. You should start using designs, bro.

It sounds like I've got something right, but I'm not really ready to release Beth to the Community yet. I just have to touch up the moveset, and then it'll be done. As for why I don't really use designs on faces and everything? I always thought it would make a CAW messy for some reason.
King Paulie
Nah, not when they're blended properly. A lot of the designs this year have transparency settings too, that helps for color blind people like me, when trying to blend the designs with the skin. Lol. Custom-R
I think I'll have to look into that. *Uploaded Beth Phoenix to the Community.* *Working on Mike Knox, and I'm thinking I may have a tough time with the beard.* Edited December 15, 2013 by customracer209
Custom-R
SCROLL DOWN to see my Alundra Blayze C.A.W. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Still on Mike Knox, but I think I'm doing a little better than almost everything that has been posted up there. If you look closely, I made a custom logo for a hair strand, and I used two designs for his little goatee stubble. Any feedback is welcomed. Custom-R
So, I did heavy research on Mike Knox and his game model, and I'm tried to morph his body to the best of my ability, and here is what I came up with: Let me know if I may have missed something. Custom-R
It's been a while since I attempted to recreate a superstar, but I decided to try again--especially we have a neat references topic, here on SmackTalks. So, I decided to try and do Alundra Blayze. I watched one of her matches the other day, and If I didn't know any better, I thought she had a tremendous amount of skill. *The pictures were taken from a Nintendo 2DS, and this is taken in front of a HD TV, so it may come out weird.* Any feedback is welcomed. I just have to say though that I've had it with the chest blur, and the crotch blur.
Custom-R
I'd like to start 2014 on a better note. Some of my past creations--which other ST members pointed out--were probably not even a score of 2/5. Well, this time, I should hope for this to be a different story. The pictures shown were taken with a Nintendo 2DS, and infront of a Flat Screen TV. So, what I'm starting with is ore of a continuation. I started on Alundra Blayze earlier, but what you see above this entry is the Original Attire (which the game itself won't let me touch up properly. So, I went to Attire 2, and started on this). And since this site won't let me post this thing at its full size, here's a link to the actual one. http://i661.photobucket.com/albums/uu331/toughman1111/A-Blayze-2.png~original
