Connor MacLeod
Connor: The DLC1 is the Fan Axxess. I used this DLC to unlock my DLC superstars. If you have 2, 3 and 4. With it now you got the 1. You don´t need the original 1, cause it overwrite it. Is like the Community DLC1 and 2 that is the official DLC2. Oh ok that makes sense, I never had the fan access so thanks for explaining it. Again thanks for the DLC bro works great as I said before. kidsampson
Got everything up and technically working -- all the wrestlers show in dlc, but I ran into a new problem: after scrolling through the first few wrestlers the renders disappear and stop displaying. No lockups, they just no longer display for either the dlc or the default roster. You can still navigate the selection menu and select wrestlers but you're met with an infinite loading screen. Same thing happens if you try to back out to the main menu. My assumption is that my arc file is now too big, as redrooster mentioned could happen. Sucks too, because I guess even if I do get this fixed so that it loads, these will be the last models and mods I'll be able to add. Question as I troubleshoot: if starting with a fresh dlc file, do I need to worry about any of the strings pacs that came before, or does the latest file here encompass all changes needed for every community dlc pack? File properties: Size: 186 KB (190,668 bytes) Size on Disk: 188 KB (192,512 bytes) Followed my normal routine and just tried with a fresh dlc file. Same issue. I can however play with the default roster no problem. Also, if I go to manage MyWWE and scroll from the bottom, the first handful or so of renders will display, all the way up to Hunter Hearst Helmsley. At that point, the overload occurs there as well. Red, do you think it could be related to the arc? The only other file I edited was the misc pac to add the extra Chavo attire over Stephanie's entry using X-Packer 9. Your arc size is fine, its only when that first Size is 188kb or more (Damn 186kb is still huge, I thought Id added lots of attires to my game but im still only at 181kb ) Its definately a problem with your arc file. Have you made any additions or changes to the community dlc 1 or 2 wrestler (eg added attires or changed them to another wrestler?) I had changed Curtis Axel to WCW Ultimate Warrior so I had to open the ch340.pac and update the arc file to match. Working perfectly, great work Mathayus, thanks! kidsampson
Must have done the add to arc step wrong. All I did was delete the FF FF FF FF at the end of the file and copy / paste from what Mathayus provided. I noticed your dlc had different directions on where to add the extra info. For this pack I just followed Tekken's tutorial for DLC 1. And I really haven't added many extra attires - maybe 20-25 at most (which includes the Hogan mods needed to get dlc 1 working). Otherwise no extra additions or modifications to dlc 1 or 2. I'll just have to comb through my arc in a hex editor to see what's up. That's for confirming where the issue likely lies. Thats why your arc file is still so big, installing community dlc 2 reduces the size of the arc file substantially. Unless you install community dlc 2 before this and then follow the same instructions for the arc file editing then it will cause all sorts of issues. Get community dlc 2 working 100% before you do this dlc and it will all be fine. You need to find FFFF01622D454E55 in your arc file and delete everything from there to the bottom of the file, then copy and paste whats in the "add to arc.arc" file into your arc file. Are you planning to do another DLC with Gangrel, goodfather, the usos, etc? I don´t like that wrestlers and is a lot of work to do. I don´t think I´l be doing the next DLC. This one is enough for me and I need to work in some mods. Red, I did that when adding DLC 2. Do you delete info before adding this pack too? I suggest you that get the arc from DLC2 edited to be smaller but starting with a new arc file. And then, If works fine, adding/updating your mods. Yes you need to delete everything that was added in community dlc 2 and replace it with the data from this addtoarc.arc
scottydub
Wait, so are you saying we need to start with a fresh arc or we just add to our current one if we've installed all the Community DLC's successfully so far?

You only add the new info like you did in the past community DLC. That was only to the member is getting troubles with his arc.

Piper
Is everybody's Curtis Axel working for them? I put this in last night including Red's pofo's fix & everything loads fine including the renders & names. Once I go select Curtis, the game immediately locks up. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong EDIT: I got Axel to work. All I did was open his pac (ch340) in X-Packer then I just hit update arc. Something must've got screwed up with my arcs when i added this dlc Edited December 16, 2013 by UtlimatePiper
El Guapo
Which dlc file do I inject the catalogue and string pacs into? The reason I ask is the folder is called "6. Files to inject into dlc 3", but the file is called "string_dlc04.pac"

El Guapo
OK, something wierd is going on. Everything works fine except for the new DLC's names (e.g. Val Venis is now "Wrestlemania 6 Arena") This sounds like a straightforward failure to copy the strings file to DLC 4, right? Well, here's the really odd thing: When I installed the last Community DLC, I took the opportunity to change Brian Pillman's name to "Flyin' Brian". Well, that change is still present! I don't understand how that can be when I've re-injected the strings file into DLC4 and re-copied it to my XBox several times over, how can it still be "Flyin' Brian"?! kidsampson
Got my issues sorted out. Just started with a new arc since I already had DLC 2 installed. Very simple process of starting with Tekken's arc from DLC 1, adding Mathayus's data from dlc 3 and then re-adding all my mods. Good thing I keep of list of the extra attires I've added. Working beautifully now. Thanks to everyone for the advice. Edited December 15, 2013 by kidsampson

kidsampson
I had the same issue as kid sampson, renders disappearing and such. I guess Ill start with a fresh arc Good luck. If you have the Hogan and Goldberg mods installed, just grab the premade arc from community dlc 1, then add the dlc 3 arc data to that file. From there, it's an easy fix to open your ch pacs in X-Packer to add any additional attires you put in your game.
