nCo2K15 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Adding another attire to the ingame Big Show. - Downloaded the dummy pac. - Extracted the pach files from the ch125 file and the modded ch125 I downloaded from here. - Injected them into the dummy pac (injected the original attire twice and then the mod twice) naming them 00012502 and 00012504 for the original attire and 00012512 and 00012514 for the modded second attire. - Updated the arc files with the added attire data. - Renamed the dummy pac to ch125. - Opened 01misc_Start.pac and found the entry for 125 and changed the attires to 2. Saved the file. - Replaced plist360.arc, misc01_Start and ch125 on my HDD with the new versions. The game loads up just fine but it isn't showing that Big Show has two attires; it only has the original attire. I've checked the pach files and the textures are in there and everything so I can't work out what I'm doing wrong. Any help? - The D Edited December 8, 2013 by nCo2k14 Quote
nCo2K15 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 D You have a JTAG? An RGH but aye, I do. Quote
OverTheEdge Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Do you have any of the DLC? If so, that will essentially always negate whatever changes you've made to the original misc.pac, as it'll look to load the one in the DLC file instead of the original one. Quote

Not the misc01_start.pac, its not effected by the dlc. You need to unlock the 2nd attire. In the misc01_start.pac just after where you added 02 for attires there should be 3 bytes and then 09 (Original which is the name of attire number 1) then 3 byte then FF FF FF FF then the next byte you should put a name for the 2nd attire eg. 74 (Normal) then leave 3 bytes and then put FF FF FF FF. Save the misc01.start.pac and copy to your xbox. Done Quote

Or do I have to use Hex Editor? Cheers man! - The D Quote
Red Rooster Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Hmm maybe you're right, I dont use Xpacker for attires I do it with a Hex Editor Quote

In that case, I think I may finally take a swing at bothering with that stuff. Thanks for the heads up, dude. Quote
tekken57 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 If you're using X-Packer, you don't need to hex edit the attires at all. Make sure that you have the number of attires set to 2, also make sure that you have assigned a name to both attires from the drop down box. If you haven't assigned a name, the attire will be locked. nCo2K15 Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 That may be the issue. Thanks Tekken! Quote
nCo2K15 Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) It's still not working. The dummy pac is showing all the right pach files and they're all named correctly. The game loads up just fine and the new ch125.pac works fine; Big Show loads ingame and whatever. Thing is, it just doesn't have the other attire... The LB/RB button is greyed out. The attire has two values as well and I've named the second one something different. I just don't get what's gone wrong... - The D So my original misc01_start.pac is only about 18kb which may be why it won't load. When I edit the misc01_start.pac in X-Packer it retains the changed information but it won't actually change anything in the game. Cena only had 1 attire despite his ch.pac file showing them all, so I changed it to. They all have the correct values for attire names too but when I load the game it still says he only has one attire. What would cause my misc01_Start file to stop working properly? I'm just gonna' start a fresh one and redo the mods etc. I'll see if that works. Edited December 9, 2013 by nCo2k14 Quote
nCo2K15 Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 The original misc01_Start.pac worked. Problem solved! Quote
