The Smackdown Hotel partners up with WWE!

I know it can be sometimes frowned upon bringing up other forums on here, but I figured I'd share this with everyone here since it's quite the accomplishment, and it should be brought up. This is a direct quote from Andy, one of the owners on the Smackdown Hotel forum.

Ladies and gentleman, we're finally ready to announce that The SmackDown Hotel has made another huge step in WWE Games history! We are very proud infact to announce that WWE itself wanted us to work for them to produce WWE Games videos.

We signed the contract around two months ago, and in the meanwhile the first official project commissioned by the WWE has been secretly completed and delivered - and it will be released on the WWE youtube channel today! We are not going to spoil anything regarding what video we're talking about, but we assure you it's going to blow your mind!

I personally spent all my free time and more, for a total of over 120 hours, to produce it down to every single little detail, every single animation and movement, every single graphics element, every single effect, and when you see the final result I'm sure you will agree it was well worth it!
Especially because, guys, the surprises don't end here... Yes, somehow the best has yet to come!

The WWE was so impressed with the effort and they loved the video so much that they decided to do something unprecedent: not only the video will be posted up on the WWE youtube channel later today, but ladies and gentleman, we're so excited and honored to reveal that the video will be shown INTERNATIONALLY TONIGHT on TV during WWE SMACKDOWN! Yes, you heard it right!

From words of the WWE itself:
"Feel accomplished. You are the first WWE fan to ever have his work put on television. That's a gigantic feat!"

We almost find it hard to believe but it's really happening!
It is a huge feat and words can't describe how immensely proud me & Simone are of this incredible and unprecedent accomplishment, and what it feels like to actually see my work recognized and appreciated from WWE itself to this point.

It's a historic achievement not only for the two of us but for the whole community we represent, The SmackDown Hotel!
We hope you are proud as much as we are - all of you members of this community are part of this little piece of history that SDH has accomplished!
So stay tuned for the video, WWE SmackDown is coming!

- SDH Owners,
Andy Badwool & The Governor.

Nobody deserves it more than him, and Simone! Be sure to watch out for their video tonight on Smackdown, and maybe post your thoughts in here once it has aired. Any congratulations, or thoughts about the whole thing, I'll share with Andy, and Simone to let them know we care as well. :) Hope nobody minds this being posted.

That's it??? It's pretty cool. Not trying 2 be a jerk or anything, but I have seen other youtubers post intro vids that good, some even better. I guess from the sounds of things I was expecting this insane, crazy awesome WWE2K14 vid.

Yeah me too... Especially when he said he put in over 120 hours, I'm kind of disappointed :/

I understand the work and time that goes into these type vids. But it just seemed like there was gonna be this monumental vid.

let's be honest Paul could have done a better job than this! tbh i thought it would be alot more cooler.

It's alright I guess. But now I guess the WWE will tell them what to do video wise now, and maybe will they pay more attention to their video games now? Who knows this might make the future of WWE games better than ever.

Every single graphic element, effect, color, positioning and movement is manually replicated frame by frame. ;)
