kushdragon420 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 So i have not seen this so far on here and the simple fact that there are less people who know how to make quality caws than people who do, or maybe just want some insight on the process, or just want want to share knowledge for the better of cc in general. share things like -Hints/tips for good caws - your own process on making caws -key things to look for when making a caw -body types and ratios and anything else you could possibly think of regarding the art of Cawing that you think might help anyone from the the noob of noobs to the most experienced of you out there! mrblacksheep Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 It's not too much too it. A good caw maker puts effort into a caw. Thats all. Its like creating afull body portrat. Some are harder than others, and most you wont get 100 percent. If you are not satisfied, ask for feedback. Just dont throw default attire parts on a caw and say abra kadabra...well unless that is how their attire is. You see too much generic crap on CC. At the end of the day refs are your best friend. High Flying Maniac Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Time, effort and LOTS of ref pics. When I make a CAW, I certainly make sure I'm not going through it too quickly. I sometimes go through each facial feature morphing several times just to make sure I didn't miss anything or to tweak something. Same goes for attires, I make sure that everything is roughly the same color/shade as the actual attire (if it's a real person). I always make the colors somewhat faded and I'm sure never to go too dark/bright when it comes to black/white. I always try to find as many good ref pics as possible. It helps when trying to capture every angle of a person. If it's a custom CAW, just make sure nothing is awkwardly sized. I'm sure most people can tell what looks normal and what doesn't lol. And also what Codes. said. Quote
ObsessedW/divas Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Everything that has been mentioned above. I would also recommend not to try and finish a CAW in one sitting. You eyes will begin to get tired and your judgement will be off. Is The D on this site? i had a question about detailing. Quote
