How do you guys know it doesn't work on windows 8?

I can't say for sure. Windows 8 users had issues with it (but it was before the 2.0 update), Then I didn't hear about them anymore.. (even after me sendind them emails).

 

So I can't tell if the 2.0 worked for them, or of they just gave up on it.

 

BASICALLY, it should work.

 

It does work on Windows 8. It works fine for me.

KG is it possible to install this program on a USB Flash Drive? I am trying to figure out a way to give you money but the 1 install and the program is dead for any future re-installs is putting a dampener on that.  I am on Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit and I would hate to buy the program and have it not be compatible then there goes that 1 install limit you allow.  At least if I could re-install the program, I could then downgrade my laptop if it doesn't work on my PC or run it off the USB Flash drive on that laptop once it downgrade it back to Windows 7. 

 

Too be honest, I am a little surprised no one else is worried about the 1 install limit and then the program is dead as I really do not think many people read through all your terms. 

No you can't install it on a usb. I won't change this part of the TOS, it's the same for all my tools.

Unless KG is prepared to refund everybody thus far with a licence to his tool, then I see no reason why he should share his knowledge. I know I'd feel ripped off if I'd paid for a piece of software exclusive to windows, only for that same piece of software to later become free to the public over on the mac.

Definitely think DaGoat got the wrong idea. What me, and others, were alluding to was that K.G could share his knowledge with someone from the PS3 side who would be willing to selflessly give up their time to create a software addition for his tool to include for PS3 users? Slim possibility but if KG cannot find the time to do it himself, then letting someone work with him to incorporate it into the existing tool would be mutually beneficial.

I'm a little saddened that I wont be able to get this, since I use a Mac rather than PC and doubt that it'd even be worth the time effort for a Mac version to be made. Still, it's a sweet tool from what I can tell. Maybe i'll finally get around to installing Boot Camp for this...

Seems like I'm the only one having a problem to get the tool to actually work when I put my email in. Unless there are others?

 

I do however beleave the tool does work, considering alot of people say it is. I'm more curious if anyone else has had the problem (KG knows and has been PM'ing me to try and get it working). Shame really as I only want it to fix my Muta PT files.

@jc...did you get the program?  If so, did you follow the instructions (i.e. extract it to a folder and not open it in the rar file, and then when opening first time, turn off your windows firewall and antivirus for that one time)....if you did that, you should open it and get a prompt that will internet check the email you told him to register it under.  You put that in and it should go through unless there is an issue on his end ( or yours...he'll help you troubleshoot it...really does take the time to help people, I can attest for that).  I can asure you, it's legit....can also assure you unless he quits caring, he'll help you solve the issue.

Yup, bought it and did the steps above. Even on another machine which he said to do. 

 

The program kept getting a "did not respond" on load. So pretty much crashing each time. On the other machine as it kept'ed happening on that too, I did it with the firewall/antivirus on to which it actually loaded. Entered in the email, then around 30 seconds it would disappear. when you launch it again, that just kept happening.

 

Agreed on helping, since I initially pm'ed him, he's been trying to help me with it. I just thought I'd ask if anyone else has had the problem which there seems to be none.

Got it working. Thanks very much KG. All I did was do a fresh install of windows and then it liked me. Heh.

 

Only problem I have is some little dots at the bottom of the texture appears. Around 5/6 infact. Any reason why?

Same place, on 128 and 256 (bottom on the right side). I can get away with it by putting a 128 texture in 256 (Thanks for the idea wolfie), but it also happens on 256.
