Custom-R Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 ^^^^^ The slider isn't about making the game harder, its make the game have better wrestling matches I know that. I didn't have enough time to finish my post, as I had to do something, but now that I do have the time, I was going to add that the match was stretched out, and it gave me great drama. These sliders can bring even the most silent gamer to make random outbursts at times. Quote
the King Lives Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 sliders are great righteous.. had an awesome back and forth match between Jazz and Trish Stratus in my Ruthless Aggression Universe LOL Quote
Honor Me Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Can't wait to try the Legend, Hard was getting too easy for me. Quote
Alex™ Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Love the slider, just have an awesome match between Rollins and McIntyre in Universe Mode 4 the US Title. Thanks for sharing these, Righteous. But i suggest you to turn down the taunt and attack momentum a little bit just to make the matches longer. They seems too short to me, but still awesome though. Edit: Forget about turning down those stuffs, i just realized that McIntyre attributes isn't at good at toughness and stuffs. Because i was Rollins in that match! Righteous Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Well, with the Taunt, it's all about timing. I don't Taunt alot personally, so when I do beat my opponent down enough to gloat, I def wanna reap the benefits. I know some people like to Taunt quite a bit, so for them turning it down is a definite. But for folks like me, it fits pretty good. But, I havent played matches on Quick or Epic. All mine are always on Normal. So I'm not too sure how much they differ with those match types. I got a feeling Epic matches will be just that tho! I just wish the AI did more moves. They do more than they did on 13, but that's not really saying alot! LOL. Edited December 16, 2013 by Righteous Quote

King Paulie Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Started using the updated sliders last night. Tried the originals but even on Legend I was having squash matches in my benefit, so I went back to my sliders I had been using. After putting in your sliders I realized that the AI settings weren't much different from what I had, but the general settings were. Nonetheless, after two matches, I'm satisfied enough to stick with these for a while. Quote
Righteous Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Glad ya'll like the updates. The good thing about them is that they are at a limit where you can easily make adjustments. Think things are a lil too easy? Turn the AI up a click or 2, and General down the same. Think things are too hard? Turn AI down a couple and General up a couple. Personally, I have adjusted mine a lil to make it harder. As my reversal timing is almost perfect, so my offense usually comes fairly easy. 1 thing I have learned thus far is that there isnt really a "perfect" setting. It's still gonna feel like there are a little too many reversals, or it's gonna feel like there isnt quite enough. Hopefully on 15 they find a true balance with the AI. NWOldskool Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I am in love with your settings, fam. I've ahd so many great matches in my Universe and it's only in its 3rd week. lmao Quote
Honor Me Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Not a fan of the Legend settings tbh. I feel like the AI reverses a little too much. I haven't been able to complete a full strike combo since I started using the sliders, they always reverse the final strike. Kicking out is super difficult too. I like some difficulty, but I still like to have a chance. I may revert back to the "hard" settings. Quote
Righteous Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 For anybody having problems on the LEGEND settings. Just turn the AI settings down a click or 2. Or turn down 1 then try a match, then turn down another and try another match and see how that works. I really like the LEGEND settings because it forces me 2 be more methodical with my offense. Sometimes when we play we like to grapple, attack, grapple, attack and grapple at will. LOL. But you won't be able 2 do that on these settings. Especially at the beginning. I've learned that if the pace starts slow and I get in good attacks and grapples to wear the opponent down, then I can pick up the pace and attack more often towards the middle and latter parts of the match. Had a cool match while play testing yesterday. I spent alot of the match on the receiving end of the offense. I still managed to get in some attacks tho, and damage my opponent. I kicked out of sig and finisher pin attempts. And was able 2 do some good damage after that. For the next few minutes it was fairly even as far as offense goes. Defense as well, as we both got in good reversals. I managed to reverse my opponent's finisher, then hit mine for the win! I felt quite accomplished after that match. LOL Quote
King Paulie Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Yea, as I've said in other threads, this game seems to do a better job at "momentum shifts" than the last couple of games, at least to me. That's my major experience when I play matches, it's pretty cool, tbh. I'd rather have it this way than have anything be too easy. Quote
Daulten780 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Here's the sliders that I made that work very well on legend: AI Reversals Standing Strike Reversals: 13 Standing Grapple Reversal Rate: 12 Ground Strike Reversal Rate: 14 Ground Grapple Reversal Rate: 12 Finisher Reversal Rate: 18 Foreign Object Attack Reversal Rate: 14Damage: Finisher Strength: 14 Foreign Object Strength: 13General: Standing Strike Reversal: 2 Standing Grapple Reverse: 0 Ground Strike Reversal: 0 Ground Grapple Reversal: 0 Finisher Reversal: 0 Foreign Object Reversal: 0 Momentum gained from attacks: 10 Momentum gained from taunts: 12 Adrenaline consumption rate: 8 Enjoy! thefranchise03 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Just had a classic between Adrian Neville vs Cody Rhodes for the IC championship. Back and forth match, plus I let the cpu get some offense in so it looks like an actual match. Around the end, I went for the Red Arrow, but Rhodes moves out of the way and hits crossrhodes for the win. Quote
Righteous Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 You can also use the LEGEND sliders on HARD. Just turn the AI grapple and strike reversals a click or 2. Quote

No one cared when someone did it in my thread, so I thought it was fine... Quote
Righteous Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 By posting your settings in my settings thread. That's Hijacking. Did I do it in your thread? No. If somebody did it in your thread, that's your responsibility, not mine. Did you even ask if you could post your settings here? Did I ask you to post your settings here? No. Learn some forum etiquette. Quote
Daulten780 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 You didn't ask, but I was offering an alternative to the people who were kinda complaining. And you're exaggerating so much... You're acting like I spammed my sliders over and over again... Quote
