Hi guys! I've been reading these forums for about 2 weeks and I would love ti mod my ps3. I know that I need to jailbreak my ps3 and downgrade it cause i have a 4.50 version can someone tell me where I can find a legit jailbreak at? And which program tutorial should I start reading 1st? X Packer? Hexeditor? and lastly will these work on a Macbook? Thank you guys, props to Tekken Red and all the others for the amazing contributions to this site

What model PS3 do you have as some are not able to be jailbroken such as the "Super Slim". And you are most likely going to have to crack open your PS3 and purchase a hardware flasher (so you will need some degree technical knowledge, depending on what you get), not 100% sure because I jailbroke my PS3 before the 3.56 update.

 

Software is the easiest part, you should find hex editors no problem for MacOS but I think X-Packer is Windows only so you will need some VM software for that.

I believe I have the super slim model I got my ps3 with the GTA V bundle plus 500 gb of storage wanted to put it to good use but alas I don't believe I can do it

I did some more research and it turns out that I can't with my model (Super Slim)

Are the ODEs not compatible with superslims yet?
