Do You guys really believe he was making them in game? lol no he wasn't i think he hacked them through a JTAG before the way was shared in public.

 

If any of You inject a texture to the game go and select on the color picker and pick a pixel then draw over it and You will see something that You won't like lol.

 

Plus it was 100% the same as TNA Impact game texture.

This was before texture importing was a thing. He did do it pixel by pixel using a grid, and it was pretty clear that he did when he showed screen shots of them. I think he used the AJ Impact texture as his reference, but he remade it entirely using the PT. Same with the Jeff Hardy texture he made. He spent hours on them, and he only made 2 or 3 at most because of that.

Anyone have good refs of Aiden English? I started tweaking SMK's today, I will be able to upload it but it will only have my detailing on the first attire. I'm really digging what I have right now but if I could get a straight on or great profile shot it would really let me finalize it. Expect it to be uploaded soon either way,

Thanks guys. Those were the 2 I used. The only issue I have with that front shot is that his head is tilted down so its hard to nail it exactly.

What is the proper way to apply a texture. I know to break it into parts but one side never matches

There are 2 ways, depending on if you are doing a 4 part texture or a 2.

 

I get the texture sized as a 256X256. Once you have that if you open a 128 PT and paste it in and then move it all the way to the top/bottom and all the way to the side, it should divide it properly into a 1/4 texture for the face. Then you just line it up on the model splitting it down the middle of the face both horizontally and vertically. If you use a 2 texture system, just shrink the width of the texture and move it all the way to the top/bottom of a 128 PT and it should be split down the middle. IMO it's easier to line up this way so you only have to line up the top half with the bottom half, and avoid the vertical split down the middle. It loses some quality, but as far as in game goes, it isn't really noticeable, and saves PTs for attires.

 

For a proper split, you want the bottom half of the texture to include the tip of the nose down. The top should have the bridge of the nose down to the tip up to the forehead. If it is a 4 part split, it should line up in the middle of the nose bridge and the middle of the lips. Also, if you line it up right and it looks wrong, don't be afraid to resize the top or bottom to be bigger or smaller to get the look you need.

Here is where Aiden English is right now. Don't have any more time to blow on him tonight. He's probably going to need another tweak session, but wanted to preview it to get some feedback.

 

Also, got the cheek design idea from TheD, although in the pics it looks like I need to tone them down some. This also started as SMK's English.

That Aiden English is amazing. Sorry to ask again but you said that Bo Dallas you were working on is in Pac's hands...any update on if that's going to uploaded or not?

Pac had been working on it but we haven't passed it yet. Bo is still in the works though, I just haven't gotten my hands on it.

I'm happy with this right now. Might see if another attire could be quickly done. Right now the face/body morphing and detailing is completely redone. I'm pretty much only using SMKs hair texture and attire texture, so there is no way I am porting all of this over to the other attires lol. Would take too long.

I would lose the attire textures. I hate doing attires, so I just wanted to do an edit of English because he looked fun to make but I don't really use multiple attires that often. I'll probably just upload it as reuploadable so if someone wants to do attires they can. Unless his red and gray attires are just tights with a belt on the top, then I could do those 2 and have a pretty complete CAW.

 

I do plan on doing a moveset for this, unless Righteous has done one. Right now he has a Cesaro default set, so going to need to fix that.

That Aiden is a awesome!!!! his new vaudevillians attire is just black tights with a gray belt, pretty straight forward really hopefully u could make that one :)

btw for his finisher id say the closest ur gonna get to the Directors Cut is the dream street tbh

I don't have plans for a Gotch right now, but if someone makes an attire I'll do a face morph for it.
