DDS mipmaps and paint.NET

Does anyone use paint.NET to edit the DDS files?

How can I set how many mipmaps to generate when saving? Seems like it creates "0c" mipmaps when it should be "04"...

I solved it!

I stored it in paint.NET without mipmaps, then padded the file with zeroes so that the size was like the old texture so that x-packer would accept the file. Works perfectly.

My method as well! - I just prefer Paint.net's interface...

Is this a bad time to mention that before I found Paint.net I used to use Paintshop pro..?
