cut scenes for edited rivalry matches

Hello all, does anyone know how to get cut scenes during edited rivalry matches? Basically what I've been doing is editing my rivalry matches just so I'm not facing the same guy every week which I'm glad you can do without it affecting the rivalry, however these edited matches have not had any cut scenes take place, is there a reason why and can it be fixed?

There's nothing to fix, you're basically changing the match entirely to just a normal match.
