Shiny effect on CAWs

Im guessing im not the only guy with this.

 

I try to change Macho's mania 8 attire so it resembles his mania 6 attire but all im getting is a shiny effect and the colours look terrible. I chose black on one colour and it came out white.

 

Would I still get the shiny effect when im in the match or will the effect still be there?
