No excuse for WWE 2k15 to fail

Yesterday WWE 2k14 officially got boring for me(will play throughout the year though),

I mean just playing 2k14 you know that it reached capacity(because of the 360, as I don't believe the PS3 reached it's full capability), from the blurs when you get out of the ring in 4+ man matches, to the fact that there can only be 6 superstars in the ring at once, one announce table, stage disappearing during victory scene, titles being small etc,

Now there's no excuses with 2k15 on the Next gen, they can surely now have 10 man matches,

more superstars,

better graphics,

improved creation suite,

superstar heads for every superstar,

Plus the ability to edit the superstars face(hair, makeup, hats, masks, etc),

championships being bigger,

having the ability to edit WWE championships in create-a-championship and place logos on WWE made titles.

Have you considered that with an increased polygon count in character models and the arena, along with additional effects, higher res textures etc, that the wrestler count won't increase? Reducing detail and polygon count for the sake of two modes (Royal Rumble and Survivor Series tag) is insane, and that's why it was never done in the past.

Creation suite will be reduced due to all new assets being required.

You can't edit the superstar's face due to the way a character model is made, hence why CAW superstar detail is lower, because they're built differently.

Championships are smaller than normal due to clipping and Yuke's quick fix solution was making them smaller to reduce that clipping. It can be fixed if 2K take it into account for the start. I think they will.

I don't think WWE want you altering their intellectual property.

That was the main reason they didn't have a superstar head mode for years

I think yes and no, the reason they added Superstar Head mode is because of the intellectual property protection in Superstar Threads. They will let you come up with your own wholly "original" creations (not original at all as it'll be used for retro and updated gear, and they know that) , but you cannot change theirs.

That didnt stop 8 man tag team matches and 8 man battle royales happenning on the PS2 and that was the previous generation.

Right now I'd say there's no way to tell considering we don't know who the developer is. Look at how GTA IV turned out; everyone was hyped for better graphics because it was "newer console"

Graphics have nothing to do with a game being fun. It'll look prettier but doesnt dictate how long you will play before you get bored. That's something way too many people focus on. Graphics cant really get much better without there being some sort of compromise. Even with "Next Gen".

I think the reason that they didn't have Superstar Heads or even Superstar Threads for a long time had more to do with them not wanting people making their Superstars look ridiculous. I seem to recall someone from either THQ or WWE saying something along those lines. I think the example they gave was something like "We don't want people putting a pink Tutu on The Undertaker", which is an interesting quote because I remember the first video in which they showed off the Superstar Threads mode and the first thing they did was change Undertaker's ring gear to pink (no Tutu as that was not possible). Now they've clearly changed their minds as you can now dress any of the Superstars in Superstar Heads pretty much any way you want. You can dress The Rock as Sable if you want.

For customisation I think one of the best games for that was Wrestlemania 2000 you could change and add absolutely anything except changing the face.

You could even remove the hair on the head it was perfect. Best thing of all whatever you did had a effect on the intro sequence.

only issue with that is you couldn't edit finishers unless you cloned the superstar LOL

For me, neither 13 nor 2k14 could be considered a "fail". Sure, they both aren't perfect, but a fail is smth else.
